It's a good small museum, there are some interesting things to see and very well decorated. There are some missing pieces in murals and a very outdated 3D giant animation of whales that could quickly and easily be replaced. There are some guided tours, but...More

This was hard to review. Fort Bulnes and Fort Famine are picturesque. The exhibition centre itself is rather meh. Staff was nice. Not really worth the hour trip out from Punta Arenas according to my family.

14,000 to get in for a reconstructed piece of junk.tour lasts about 40mins, really disappointing. Nothing much but a some buildings and 2 viewpoints. Parents are Chileans that presented Chilean drivers license as they did not have their passports. This ID was fine at all...More

This is just about as far south as you can get in South America without getting on a boat or plane to the islands. The walk around the recreated old settlement is beautiful and the information clear and in both Spanish and English.

This is the main square in Punta Arenas and the main statue honoring Magellan as in the Strait of Magellan that borders the town.

As history buffs we couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit this unique area. The museum with the small ship replicas lit against the glass background was stunning and more than enough information about this intrepid explorer. The lookouts were pleasant and peaceful but not...More

Lots of history here, especially with respect to early European settlers. The restored fort was pretty neat.

Really enjoyed the park. The visitor center was very nice and had a great museum. I thought it was very educational. The fort was also very cool. But the highlight of the trip was definitely the coastal trail. There were great views and we saw...More

Well worth the drive if not just for the scenery. The museum was a little disappointing being very dark with little information. The cafe was basic at best but did serve nice coffee ... shame as it could offer so much more.
