Nice scenery and good for a stroll around

quite big & we could take strolling around the place. to see the building, the tree also sea side. not so crowded and relaxing place. not bad

Visited on our last day in Xiamen, on the guides it is listed as the Tan Kah Kee Memorial Area, we travelled there via a hire car. Only had a few hours but plan for a bit longer. The gardens are wonderful sitting on the waterfront and worth just walking around here. We really enjoyed the story of Mr Tan... More

Was not expecting such a beautiful memorial hall (of the late Mr. Tan Kah Kee) and the surrounding greens - horticulture at its best with different trees thoughtfully planted throughout. Lots of places for kids to run, and a beautiful coast to stroll along, contemplate etc. Majestic view. Only thing is you need to think of transportation - not easy... More

Occupy a relative huge area. Together with the Turtle Garden, Returning Garden and the former residence of Mr. Tan Kah Kee and Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall. Prepare to walk and spend at least 2 hours to visit the site.
