If you're into over-congested, elevated roadways; This is the place for you! If you're a normal person, better off staying at home.

its a beautiful place to visit and there are nice parks near the bridge where we can relax or go for a walk in the evening.

First time over unbelievable how high up you are. Ships look like toys. A real time saver for travel. Breath taking thru one tunnel then daylight the bridge snd back into a tunel. Better then a fair/carnival ride. Larry

a singular importance as it is the first bridge across the Pearl River upstream from Hong Kong's Tsing Ye bridge, a moderate distance. Geographically and historically, this is significant. Otherwise, it is another bridge.

I believe if memory serves me right this bridge to be 4.5km long and it straddles the pearl river. Apart from that no big deal other than there's an accident on it just about every night and a 40min journey can take 2hrs Nightmare!!

I crossed this bridge twice a day for 2-1/2yrs as I lived in Humen and worked in Nansha. To be quite honest there is nothing there at the bridge (linking Nansha to Humen) and no access to foot passengers. There is even less in both nansha and Humen towns. If memory serves me right the bridge is 3.5km long and... More

The Humen Bridge was the longest suspension bridge in Asia in 2006 and offers beautiful views of the Pearl River delta on a clear day.

I don't know how much time of my life has been lost in traffic waiting to cross this silly bridge. There should have been an additional bridge added up stream years ago. With increasing traffic, I don't know how much the new bridge from Shekou to Zhongshan will help.

Integral part of any visit to Weiyuan Fort or the Sea Battle Museum (if open). At sea level, hawkers have stalls under the bridge and you can enjoy the aroma of the seashore detritus. A climb to the site of the former Qing army barracks lets you cross the bridge above the road and bask in the incessant blaring of... More
