Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Qifeng Park is located right down the street where we live at the Green Return Garden in DongCheng. This park is INCREDIBLE and I feel like I'm Indiana Jones every time my family and I enter this jungle of a park! At night bats swoop down from the trees to catch mosquitos. After it rains you can find ENORMOUS snails slithering about. You an feed bright orange and yellow koi fish at the huge pond. There is a HUGE temple straight out of some Kung Fu Movie. We even found a SECOND temple complex hidden on one of the side roads that has a HUGE reclining Buddha like in Bangkok!!!! The Red Lantern at the top of the hill is incredible. This park has it all. It's like exploring ancient temples in a jungle.

Stayed at the Pullman right around the corner and told the kids a hike would be required before breakfast. They moaned the whole way, but we thoroughly enjoyed our 4-mike hike to the park and up to the lantern. The view was gorgeous. Great typical Chinese scenery on the way: dancing, card games, singing, and of course a hawker selling toys at the top. Great place for a bit of local culture and exercise.

I love this park cos I have lots of memory there.
I have a good time with my family and friends, also my first Irish crush at the midnight there.
all of these turned out to be a sweet memory.

I run here most mornings and it is a beautiful park. It is clean and green with tons of little paths and stairways. It is filled with runners and people who cycle and walk. Lovely place to go and see.

A well maintained park with lakes. Right next to the metro. A community facility which everyone uses from early morning to late evening. Unfortunately the local refreshment vendors have been replaced by machines. The remnants of the beautiful old fruit orchards can still be seen. A great escape.

Dongguan is mostly business city and this park is real gem to get away from busy city. Weekends may be a bit crowded but park is huge enough. There is a metro station near main enterance called as same name as park. Artificial lakes and temples are bonus of the place. Good for families with children. Take your time to visit there. Enjoy.

Lots of walks from easy to hard. The walk up to the Lamp at the top is steep but good stairs. The temples, lakes, gardens all make for a nice break from the crowded chaos everywhere else. Was there in a Thursday mid morning, might be much busier on weekends.

Walked here when I had free time while staying at Ibis Dongcheng, as the park is next to the metro station anyway. The weather was hot (end of May), nevertheless it was a nice walk, with quite many benches to rest, ponds, small bridges to walk, etc. Sometimes it felt like almost in the forest, sometimes it was a clearly Chinese park with all those lanterns. Must visit if you love nature and are in the area.

I go there a couple of times a month to go for a walk and enjoy some greenery. Dongguan is a green city but is saturated with ambient noise from cars and daily life. If you get up early enough you can avoid the crowds who also would like to escape the city. they have a couple of 4 km circuits which are linked together for a hilly 8 to 8.5 km walk

Qifeng Park is right on the Dongguan subway line. It's an easy hike up the mountain and offers great views of the city if it's not too cloudy. The lantern lights up at night, which is cool if you stick around for the sunset.
