Tropical beach and views of Hong Kong

This is a high-end beach resort community, replete with many Western-style shopping areas. The beach is sandy and was not very crowded.

Location some way from city by bus (25/45) mins pending traffic. Access has ticketing system reminisce of London underground turnstiles(@ cost) McDonalds & KFC very close, if the desire to indulge, having flown 6,000 miles and many more by train & bus. Actual beach is very wide & deep Great theme with giant like figurines strategically placed along the beach... More

Swimming pool in the hotel was great, but nothing wins a splash in the real sea water. On weekends the beach is quite crowded, so weekdays and morning are the best

Gigantic statues sited across the beach which are lit up in the evenings. Very clean and gets busy when the sun sets and is cooler.

My fellow travellers made good companions. We arrived in Dameisha., along the coast. The water here is warm enough to swim in. You can go fishing, camping and also enjoy this beautiful clean air. We spent a lovely weekend.

I wouldn't consider this place as a vacation resort, but as a short week-day escape Dameisha may be fun. My colleagues and I came here on a Wednesday evening with business partners after a busy working day to bathe in the waves and have a seafood dinner afterwords. For me, a frequent traveller to China, but a first timer to... More

If you love clean beach don't go to dameisha, besides being crowded (ups! weekends def avoid!) is dirty as well. I usually take a taxi or bus to further beaches such as xiaomeisha and or xichong. The water should be better but depends on the sea tights, def will be less crowded. Usually beaches have a 20RMB entry fee.

Could be a really nice place but chinese trow on the beach everything so is full of plastic bottle, plastic bag and a lot of refurbishes. That's so pity!!!!!! Until when the Chinese government won't put a strictly rules with a high penalty about how to mantein clean the location this place will be always too bad. Personally I won't... More
