Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As weather was not that good to go frequently to the beach, we had the opportunity to got to this visit, organised by our hotel.
Big park, with many pool natural made of stones or human construction. One of the pool was proposing the little fishes which bite the deadskin, and was the big attraction of the place.
Not much English speaking in the place, but after paying the entrance ticket, you can manage just walking around. If you plan to stay for long time, you can bring your own picnic. There are lockers in the entrance, and they provide the towels. Also massage additional to the initial fee.
Would recommand if you go to Sanya.
Reserve the return taxi in advance. As when you finish, few taxi available, who charge you a lot more than normal price, as there is no other choice to leave the place.

We normally try to organise trips by ourselves, but having checked the local bus times it would have taken over 4 hrs to get there. We eventually booked thru our Sanya Yiyang Coast Hotel 165rmb which included transport from Sanya town which was about an hour & a half away, the other side of Yalong Bay.
We arrived and were given wrist bands for the day which opened the lockers in the changing rooms. We took our bag with us with a small picnic in. There is free water and tea available around the site but if you wanted bottled cold water it is 5rmb.
There are plenty of different wellness pools to choose from, we worked our way around each one clockwise. The pool area is very relaxing.
A few points before you go:
Put suntan lotion on your face even though it's in the shade.
Girls: make sue your bikini or bathing suit is a dark colour. The pools of coffee or tea tend to stain any white swimwear.
shoes: if poss take flip flops so you don't need to borrow their shoes, as always in China You never can tell how sterilised their shared bathroom slippers are!
Well worth a visit though have fun!

It takes a while to get here, but even from Sanya Bay it was not an expensive cab ride. The dressing rooms are very modern and well kept. There are so many pools of different sizes and types, including two Fish Therapy (Fish Pedicure) pools, a coconut milk pool, red wine, white wine, tea, coffee, lavendar, lemon, lemongrass, a great kids water park, and a large and deep eternity pool. The free wellness tea at the front is delicious. Clean, fluffy white towels, lockers, and flipflops are all provided with the cost. We were each 198 RMB and our 9 year old cost 99 RMB...divide by six for USD...so a steal of a deal. We are accustomed to paying to go to Canadian hot springs, like Banff, where you are gouged financially. Go to Nantian first thing in the morning as it gets busier as the day goes on. A highlight of our time in Sanya.

We (my girlfriend & I) went there as we followed all the good reviews. The Spa itself was quite nice, with a green landscape, palms and lots of plants all around. But the springs itself were small and it was to less water in them. Also even they were advertised with different flavors, they were basically all the same and had no smell as they just put in too less to make it smell (e.g. tea, lemons, coconut). Also the water was not changed and therefore already at lunchtime most of the springs were quite dirty and not enjoyable anymore.
We really enjoyed the spring with the little fish eating your skin.
All in all it was nothing special for us and for the regular price (198RMB/Person) we would have been really disappointed.
HINT!!!
As July is not the main season, we just booked a night in the hotel and one night for 2 persons including breakfast was 350RMB and 2 tickets for the spa were included in that price. So before going there it´s worth to check the prices for staying in the hotel.

Very nice place to relax in one of the 38 pools including 2 fish spa pools. Enjoy the lovely garden view with a fresh coconut water or a good tea. Can recommend the massage, which isn´t expensive but still very good.

Well, it is a bit far from the city-center, but if you are staying near Haitang-bay, you should visit here.
There are many different themes of hot spring pool.
I recommend you visit here in the evening.
Not that crowed so you can fully enjoy all the pools there.

This is the place to visit if you like hot water springs. A various of different pools to choose between and also beautiful environment around the pools (the Ginseng-pool and the fish spa was the best). Lockers and changing rooms are modern and clean and they provide you with towels to use during your stay. What makes me score 3 is that I believe it is a little bit overpriced - 198 RMB/person. Would not say that you really get what you pay for. We also tried the traditional Chinese massage and it was good value for money. 98 RMB for 45 minutes.

It is a decent spa with all the facilities you may need. That includes locker, clean towels, slippers, hair-dryers, tea, shower etc. We were told there were 38 pools. When we arrived we found out that 3 larger ones had been closed for reconstruction. The cold water pool was among them, so we couldn't enjoy the pools to the fullest, because there was no way to cool off. Also several pools had no scent, so it seemed to me like they were simply colored. Nevertheless, all of them had poorly translated back stories promising miraculous effects.

There are over 30 pools. They have done a brilliant job of labeling each pool and explaining the health benefits of each one. We stayed for a couple of hours enjoying the pools and relaxing in various areas.

There are a number of large and small pools at this resort with varying temperatures and a "fun" pool for kids. The organisation is good and the changing facilities clean. Unlike many hot springs there is no sulphur smell so one can have a relaxing afternoon.

Здравствуйте,хотелось бы узнать какова температура воды в источниках . В разных источниках разная температура ?
Written 14 December 2018

Le Meridien Shimei Bay Beach Resort & Spa 5*
Written 7 July 2017
Я бы взяла такси. До источников 100-120 в местной валюте. Если договоритесь с водителем, чтоб он отвез обратно - он может снизить цену.
