Probably the best way to experience Suzhou and its canals is via a boat ride. That, unfortunately, wasn’t part of our tour with Sinorama. But we did get to walk both banks of one canal – artisan studios and souvenir shops on one side, restaurants...More

Yes I mean it. A beautiful and big lake. Many resources of the Suzhou depends on this lake as per our guide information. Passed by while in our way. Enjoyed few minutes only.

Definitely worthwhile when visiting Suzhou but I found the canal tour to be too short and it only went through the wide part of the canal. Good views of the city wall but I expected to see the narrow canals.

It is a must!!1We took a ride on the canal on a dragon boat and it reminded us of Venice. Lots of beautiful colonial homes line the canals. The city itself is also calm after a busy tour in Shanghai.
