The visit to the Moon harbour is worth it in the evening, to avoid the heat. Though given a choice, I would still prefer visiting the ancient historic village as opposed to this modern day development. That, said, we just wanted to check the box,...More
I always like the combination of old and new in Suzhou. When I feel like something modern but quiet, I choose Moon Harbour for a walk. Especially this season, the breeze makes me feel relief. Soft and not cold.
Great restaurants with diverse menu including western food, great bars with views of the lake, nice walking paths for quiet walks, nice green areas to just sit read or have a picnic. Overall great place to kill time and there is something for everyone -...More
This place is located in the new Suzhou area and is quite far away from the old city center, but can be reached by public transportation ;there are many cafes and restaurants in this area and the main attraction is the lake.
The place is good to walk around during evening/night time. The place is near a shopping hub with lots of shopping malls in the vicinity. Easily accessible using subway line 1. One can get off at Times Square Station to get there.
The view at night is amazing and there is a great variety of restaurants including Indian, Thai, French and Turkish. The food at Ganesh's Indian restaurant was delicious, I highly recommend the cheese Baan.
try to visit in the evening wonderful lights it looks fantastic. Lots of musquitos be aware of that on a warm evening. They did a great job building so many restaurants and strolling along the lake is romantic especially in the evening;
