Nanchan Temple was wonderful. The first thing that will tickle your senses about the place will be the intricacies, colors and shapes of the temple architecture. Its like each panel has been meticulously placed designed to suit. The Buddhist relics inside the temples are awesome....More

Friends took me to see the old Wuxi city center, and this temple was very prominent. As typical of such place, there were people selling incense sticks and the likes outside.

The Nanchan street next to the temple is the place to be at night hours. Lot of bars and restaurants open till late with some habit live music.

Staying in Wuxi on business, didn't manage to get to the temple till about 6ish when the sun was setting. Temple was closed, and there was quite a bit of restoration/scaffolding going on. Nice central location with lots of restaurants about but I didn't stay...More

Lot of colours, smells, people, shops and an exciting life all over. I took the opportunity of buying some jade and pearls here. If you do please take a local with you. Else you're gonna get screwed.
