Relaxing time out of the time

Even if it is not big, walking through this park was nice and peaceful. The sunflower field is so nice and being near the lake give a nice scenery.

We took another traveler's advice and quickly walked through the park to go straight to Huishan Mountain. We paid for round trip cable car tickets at the park entrance, but chose to only ride the cars up and then took the hiking trails down the mountain. The trails are almost all rock steps. All trails lead to the bottom of... More

Thursday afternoon, 37 degrees C, blistering blue sky. Those three factors in combination meant that we more or less had the entire park to ourselves! By local standards, admission was pricey: we paid 100 Kwai for a ticket that included the cable car ride up and back down. It was 70 Kwai without the cable car ride, but the extra... More

In addition to the ancient town area and the gondola ride, this park is a wonderful place to see the local inhabitants in the mornings and evenings, particularly on the weekends. Countless groups are dancing, singing, playing instruments, exercising and playing games. I visit regularly and always leave wishing that we had such activities and a good use of such... More

This was a nice park with a pagoda, gondola ride, lake, Buddhist temple, and small shopping street. From reviews on this site, I had expected it to be a lot cheaper than it actually was...It cost 70 RMB to get in and 20 or 25 extra for the gondola ride. Unfortunately, the day I was there, it was raining a... More

Incredibly preserved old town with all of the must-have real Chinese characteristics we all imagine. Exotic and beautiful. Elegant "Heran" coffee on main street is decorated like an old European palace and their coffe and pastries are the best!

The park is a typical Chinese park, but it is situated between two mountains. The cost of admission is 25 RMB or 45 RMB including a gondola trip to the top of HuiShan, which I think is worth it. Within the park there are a few gardens and buddhist praying temples that require a small extra payment, but there's more... More

Visited this park via a travel tour company. Didn't have too much time here. What we saw was really pretty. Parts of it made us feel like we were transported back many years. It would have been a nice place to just sit and reflect about life for hours. Can't remember if we had to pay to enter the park... More
