Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Some of the reviews are really expecting alot. This is Changchun, its not Orlando or LA or Shanghai. Granted Changchun is critical to the making of movies in China, but this is a theme park but the theme is kind of loose and free.
One of the other reviewers noted its run down, and I have to agree with that. The park has been neglected, and that is unfortunate.
One mentioned its in town. Anyone who lives in Changchun wouldn't say its "in" Changchun. Its well outside of town. I am not sure about public transportation regarding where the metro would drop you off but a Didi or taxi can get you there, but for most it will be an expensive ride.
When we went it was late evening and I will tell you that the park transforms after the sun goes down. So plan on going to either be in the evening or where you will see some day and into the night. The lights around the park at night are wonderful.
Many things were closed when we went. I don't know if that is normal or if it had something to do with the time we went.
So with tempered expectations but there is entertainment to be had, but you an't be raving about it.

This place is a fair way from the city centre and takes about 45 mins in a taxi. It is probably one of the better things in Changchun which, imo, is an eminently forgettable and quite dirty, down trodden city. Try getting a taxi at night.
Anyway it was 240rmb to get in and it is quite a large place so I would strongly recommend you catch the bus, which was pretty expensive at 100 rmb for 2 for a short time. The advantages being a) limited walking and b) they get you to the shows in correct order and in good time.
Best show was the 4d show and I suppose the really fake movie set about fighting the Japanese show was reasonable as well. Yes, the chinese were resoundly victorious over the evil and cruel Japanese,
The longest wait was for the space car ride - which was so-so but at least the people at the food kiosk ran a delivery service to the queue noting you were sitting. That was good.
Some of the other attractions were well past their use by date and needed updating and I wish people would turn the flash and nighttime light off on their cameras because that was a major distraction and ruined a couple of shows.
The haunted house would have been good if it was haunted and scary and some of the robotics are like stuff from the early 70's theme parks. Did not see one scared chinese person and I did hear some complaining about that they think the park is a little passé now and needs updating of the attractions.
Plenty of toilets, good and clean and plenty of not bad snack foods as well. The er ren juan was apparently good according to friends, just I didn't understand a lot of it.
Kids would like it as it is quite suitable for younger ages thogh some attractions can be very crowded and you are moved through them like cattle.
In an odd thing there were pieces of military hardware placed like statues or monuments all over the site in odd places. Including old what appear to be MIG's
I was told repeatedly that it the best of its type in china. I think a bit more effort (ie truckloads of cash) and it could actually be world class. In fact I wondered why a place like this was in a hole like Changchun and not in Shanghai or Beijing.
Interesting for half a day or a bit more and a good distraction from Changchun city. If you are up that way its worth a visit.

It's very beneficial for those who have not been here and want to get a taste of the cities afterlife. Changchun has the friendliest people and most economy based living in all of China. This is an extraordinary experience, yet a little costly for the event. You have to do this once!

Movie Wonderland was.... interesting. From a theme-park visitor from way back, this was nothing like any park I have visited.
The "rides" were not thrill rides, but more... passive. The Haunted House was decidedly regional-fair-esque, yet Chinese Teens were being removed in tears, and nearly every corner had someone scared out of their wits. Most of the "rides" involved long queues followed by sitting and watching something. One "ride" involved walking into a room with 150 people, listening to some Chinese narration while a light show followed, then walking into another room for a green-screen demonstration.
The only "ride" with an actual ride was a space ride, which if you have back problems, I would avoid like the plague. The 4D movie was interesting, and probably the best "ride" in the place.
During winter only one ride is open at a time, so everyone in the park moves between the open rides, leading to super long queues.
It was a really expensive activity at 200 Yuan, far more than anything else we did, and I do not think it good value.

This is one of the museums that shows how the shoot films in China! It's very similar to Universal Studio however, not exactly like it though. It has this spiral shaped tower inside, it's like the ultimate universal studio of another city!

It was nothing like what I imagined. The ticket was a wastage. Came back after 1 hr. I found it very lame... may be I was too old for that. The name of the place is very much misguiding.

It's to far from Changchun city centre,,,it's to expensive and not that great. It's a place you'll only go once, and compare to amusement parks I've been to in china I think it's way overpriced

They have some interesting movie rides, but a little tacky. Most attractions are a little dated and the place needs a good makeover.

This park is situated within city limits and can be easily reached by taxi or subway. It can be worth one full day of leisure. Ticket price is around 300 RMB. Inside they have swings, shops, rides and many attractions. Can be crowded during weekends.Worth visiting if you don't want to travel to Shanghai or other big city.

Some of the exhibits are really fun, especially sitting in cinema chairs that are "enhanced". When mice run across the floor on the screen, you feel them as well as see them - haha.
