I visited this park in the middle of winter and was amazed at the size of the Park, the various walk paths and the opportunity to just sit and watch others enjoying the surroundings.

In winter, there are two areas of the frozen lake kept in great shape for skaters. One large area has a skating rink by a pagoda and another section, nearby, has a hockey rink. A beautiful pagoda serves as a picturesque backdrop, great for photos....More

This park celebrates the exit of the Japanese occupation on 19.02.1945. There is a large lake in the park, but only about one metre deep. Dug by Chinese female slaves for the recreation of the Japanese occupation army
