The temple is right across the Fenglin Ge restaurant and 2-3 mins. walking distance from Yunzhong Courtyard where we stayed for three nights. Unfortunately, we wait till the last morning to visit. Although this is a replication of the original, you don't miss the serenity and solemnness walking inside the vast property. The structural influence of this temple from the... More

Marvelous temple structures without one single nail. Good toilets and leisurely visit for at least one hour and a half. Close to shopping street and plaza.

Nice visit to the temples however most of them have now been replaced with new buildings and made to look old which is a shame, would prefer to see the old buildings but still very pretty

The temple grounds are huge with many interesting old structures. There is a huge square after the main entrance. Very attractive and worth a visit if in the area.

A very critical Buddhist temple in the history of Buddhism in China. Primary proponents of the Avatamsaka sutra and related teachings. Here stands one of the four oldest wooden building structures in the world. Amazing ancient statues here including the "Venus of the East" bodhisattva.
