First of all, I was shocked that there was no entering fees, the place was amazing and full! Needs half a day to take a full tour!

This museum faces Tianfu square, it is free but tickets are required. There is a QR code to scan for tickets but a helpful staff member told me that it doesn't work for foreigners. Instead go into the small building to the right of the main entrance with your passport. The staff member there will record all of your details, and put a stamp on your hand that functions as a ticket. Once inside the museum the aeronautics exhibit is on the first floor and the robots are on the second. The aeronautics exhibit has some fun things to try out but they are only open at certain hours. You can watch robots do all sorts of task like solve a Rubik's cube or shoot free throws.

I want to go to the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum in the afternoon, and my friend asks me to have dinner first and hang around here. Unfortunately, the museum was closed. I need to come back again next time!

This is an entrance free museum with a lot if things to do IF they were working.

In total very disappointing for our children and though for us.

The science museum is a hidden gem. Amid the unassuming exterior, the museum is filled with many interactive exhibits. More interestingly, there is also historical artefacts that brings back notslagia like the display of old textbooks, radios, TVs, food, phones and computers.

The only minus point is that the place is crowded so its best to visit at the start of the opening hours. Or you probably have to endure the sounds of screaming kids running around the place. For foreigners, please also bring your passports for registration. Admission is free. Overall it is a great place to spend 2-4 hours in the morning. It is also easily accessible by mass transit and at city area.

This is a well laid out, bright and attractive interactive experience aimed at children. Most of the exhibits allow you to push, pull, lift or turn various buttons, wheels or levers in order to observe a particular effect. To demonstrate Pythagoras's Theorem for example, you turn a wheel to see coloured water flow out of a large square on the long side of a right-angled triangle and fill exactly two smaller squares on the shorter sides.

Having done a couple of more 'serious' museums on our trip, this made a pleasant change. Don't forget to take your passport as you will need it to get in. Entry is free.

The place is extremely pleasant and organized, entrance is free for foreigners but you need to show your passport or a copy. There are so many sections to see, between astronomy, mechanics, life, animals, plants, human biology, so much to see. This can easily take the full day

First we thought it is a museum of china's development of technology and science but it turned out to be exhibition for children learning, almost on par with the smithsonian in wash.dc. A must see place in chengdu, highly recommended!!
