Entrance fee is 10rmb but worth it. Recommend that you go with a guide who can explain everything to you. Very interesting background and history. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the gardens are lovely. Good for a quick short visit.

I'd definitely recommend Qingyang Temple. It's a well-maintained site. The immediate vicinity is under heavy construction at the moment, but the nearby park and the overall neighborhood is worth a stroll. The site is calm and peaceful. It's also a tradition to rub one of...More

I would highly recommend to visit it. Many interesting temples. Beautiful architecture. Wasn't crowded when we visited it.

There was some maintenance running by the time we were there, so some things were not open for the public. But we still could enjoy the temple. It was the first time we went to a taoist temple and we could find lots of differences...More

They were renovating this temple when we went, but we loved the tumbledown nature of the parts that had not yet been repainted. Some beautiful old buildings, and lots of local people having picnics, going to the teahouse and doing Tai Chi. It had a...More

Though the temple is very beautiful and it's a nice break from all the Buddhist temples, the best experience was the teahouse on the premises. We were there on a business day but the place was flocked by the elderly; knitting, painting, playing cards and...More

This is a quiet place. The incense smells notably diff fr those in buddhist temples. Taoists keepers dressed in their traditional garbs are nice to look at. So are the folks who touch the bronze ram followed by themselves to 'transfer' the energy. Another sight...More

I loved this complex of temples, pagodas and gardens. It can be easily reached from the city centre and is surrounded by the Cultural Park. There is now a small entrance fee of 10CNY, but it's worth every penny. So much to see and so...More

I loved the Green Ram Temple, and the YinYang symbols, the halls and pagodas, the integration of nature into the site, and the relatively inexpensive entrance fee (just over a dollar USD).
