This is really worth a visit. I loved it. Very atmospheric and massive grounds. I loved the life sized arhats- statues of monks who've Attained nirvana - inside the grounds it's very peaceful - up there in terms of temples I've seen here!

The grounds of the temple have been restored to their pre Cultural Revolution glory. It is a glorious example of Chinese pure land Buddhism.

Though the walk in is a bit strange, the rest of the site is beautiful. Watching the locals as they observe their spiritual rights, is very comforting.
