None of my local friends had even been here but I found it on tripadvisor and came. It's a nice mostly shaded walk by a lot of waterfalls. If you go, make sure you climb all the way to the tea house and shrine at the top for the best view. 3 hours was plenty to go all the way... More

An absolutely perfect escape from the city, although I've heard it gets crowded at peak times. If you want to go to the top it's a fairly arduous walk when the weather is hot but it is so worth it. There are places to buy food and drink on the way up though i would warn that the bbq spot... More

Less than an hour outside of Ningbo this is an area of 5 stunning waterfalls and a beautiful river walk. A bit too hot in the summer it best to visit in spring or autumn.

We went for a hike in the mountains and also saw the waterfalls and ponds. Beautiful nature, and nice paths to walk on. It is a little difficult to get there, but bus 638, leaving at the city centre will take you there. It will take you 1.5 hour single trip. The prize with the bus is 4 yuan. The last... More

If you are too tired after a hard working week in Ningbo its worth to make a day-trip to WuLong pond. It is not to far away from Ningbo. - I guess that 45-50min will be enough. I cannot give 5***** because it was too over-crowded when I was there with my friends. However, it is really a nice place... More

This place is nice, but not 5 star nice. If you have been to hiking around Ningbo then you may have seen better rock pools or better sights than this in natural locations. With that being said, from Ningbo you can take a taxi there for 100 rmb and you will arrive in about 45 minutes. So if you are... More

Take bus 661-1 and pack a lunch. Food options were limited, unless you want to bbq but the selection looked sparse. The main attraction is the five major waterfalls and the pool below it. Each one has a colored dragon theme, hence the name Five Dragon Pools. With the exception of the first foot path behind the statues when you... More

Like many other scenic spots in China, this might feel a bit over-developed sometimes because of the concrete walking paths and pavilions in the middle of nature. But the place is beautiful all the same, passing through pond after pond on the way up with some nice waterfalls. The ponds are a great place to cool off in the sweltering... More

Great walk along the creek to its springs, many waterfalls, all/day trip, halfway also available by bus, a barbecue place in the middle. Many steps, but ok for kids 4\5 and older
