Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located in the center of the city, just after WuMa Street. Jiushan Park and it’s neighborhood can give you a glimpse of old Wenzhou. Not too far from the park (to the side of WuMa/ Jinhejie) you can find real old Wenzhou buildings and neighborhoods

I liked to take a walk in the park and watch people dance, perform tai chi, play badminton or mahjong. This remains to me an intriguing site. It's a nice park with the pagoda right in the centre. Climb up to the top and enjoy the views.

Really enjoyed the views from the pagoda, although this old Chinese man was less sweaty than me once I reached the top. Also really liked watching people swim, but wouldn't do it myself for fear of attracting ebola or some exotic flesh eating bacteria. Walked to Jingshan forest park after, would recommend both if you're into nature, views and walking.

This beautiful lush green park offers so much more than one could expect. My husband and I came here several times and found ourselves in awe. Nature in its beauty surrounds you as you walk among the paths. Whether climbing a stone staircase to an upper level or sitting on stone seats around the center stage, harmony and peace welcome you. Locals come to walk, exercise, play with their children or grandchildren, swim or fish, or just be. The largest city park in Wenzhou, you will find yourself in an open yet almost secret garden among the bustle of cars, traffic and business life of day to day life. A truly enjoyable place. Please visit if you ever find yourself in Wenzhou, China.

be prepared for a bit of a walk, however the views are awesome from above , i found the place to be clean and very tranquil with not too many visitors
a gentle slow walk to the top is rewarded by some spectacular views of the city below
i didnt swim in the waters but did see one or two people frolicking in the water
highly recommended even if for a short visit

Used to live next to Jiushan Park. It's a nice place to chill for a couple hours. There are some swimming clubs that use the pond (although I wouldn't recommend swimming here, the water is quite dirty). Definitely climb the pagoda, located at the top of the hill. There is no fee and it provides some excellent views of the city on a clear day. Also, the grass area in the center usually has many dogs playing. Finally, nearly every night there will be many seniors doing synchronized dancing which is fun to watch. I rate Jiushan as average because it is rather small, but if you are in the area, it's a good place to check out.
