The exhibits reflected a Colombian take on modern art--similar to what you might see in the US, but also reflecting a somewhat different and refreshing approach. When we visited there was a wonderful exhibit of drawings and photos by Ever Astudillo, reflecting the grity side of Cali decades ago. There was another great show of 2 and 3D works in... More

I'm not sure where the positive reviews come from. Maybe there have been good seasonal exhibitions? When I went recently, it was terrible. At least the admission was free. I'm a Cali native and it pains me to say that, while the other major Colombian cities like Bogota and Medellin have fantastic art displays and museums, my hometown really lacks... More

One is for Cinematic, other exhibits at the lower floor of another building and some more exhibits at the Main Building (second floor only (for Beatriz Gonzales). I think there is poor... More

This museum happens to rank very high in tourist reviews and travel lists, but I did not really enjoy this museum. You can breeze right through the tiny exhibits that have very little explanation. It was also very unprofessional how they wanted to hold my backpack, but had no security or locked cabinets. While the lady at the box office... More

It's a nice little modern art museum that has interesting exhibits, classes and expositions from time to time. If you're walking around the Parque de los Gatos, you should swing by and see what's going on at La Tertulla.

This is a small and beautiful museum adjacent to the Rio Cali. The modern architecture and setting in this nice area of Cali is worth a visit.

Dominantly visited by school classes and tourists. 3 halls: general art, modern art, educational section. Not of interest to international turists.

La Tertulia is a great space to get a touch of the magical culture and art that Cali have to offer. It has one of the most important contemporary art collections in the region.
