Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This park is situated about a five-minute walk outside the walls. It has limited opening hours (3 pm - 8 pm on some days, when we visited), but it worth a visit. It was nicely landscaped and clean. It is particularly suitable for families with children, as there are many play structures for kids. There are also statues of famous Colombians sprinkled throughout the park. The park is set at the water's edge, which adds a nice touch, especially at dusk.

This is nature in the middle of the city. Very close to Castillo San Felipe, free admision, after walking through a crowded area, this place is like an oasis. You can see turtles, iguanas, different kind of birds.

We took a hour and one half or so to walk, talk, look and take in a somewhat tranquil part of Cartagena. Admission is free, and benches to relax on as well...No necesitas hablar español para esta atracción.

Seemed like a good idea at first, based on the ratings, but once we got there, it was a huge dissappointment. The IDEA of the park was what attracted us, but once we arrived, it was clear the park hadn't been maintained in a long time. Most of the food carts and kiosks were abandoned. The equipment was broken down (netting in kids play areas were falling down, padding falling off, etc.). Thankfully we found 1 kiosk selling some juice/water, but overall you could tell that when maintained, this place was nice, but it felt forgotten. Most of it felt abandoned.

Spend your vacation time surrounding by mangrove park located in the center of Cartagena. Just two mins walking from the wall.

IT REALLY IS PRETTY. THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE REOPENED ITS DOORS: WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY FROM 10 AM TO 8 PM WITH FREE ADMISSION, VERY NICE PLACES TO ENJOY NATURE, TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS, GET TO KNOW A LITTLE HISTORY AND CULTURE WITH QR CODE THAT HAS EACH SCULPTURE OF THE CHARACTERS, RECOMMENDED BOLIS IN THE ENTREPRENEURS AREA, WATER ACTIVITIES AND MANY JUICE AREAS FOR OUR CHILDREN.
