"El pueblito paisa" is an amazing place located at "el Cerro Nutibara" in Medellin, Antioquia. It is a replic of a typic town in Antioquia of the XX century, with many colors and very good people. It was built on March 3rd, 1978. To go there, you only have to take the metro in exposiciones station, walk or take a transport, is very easy! The good new is that the entry is free! In my opion, the food there is very expensive, so if you want to have lunch or eat something, you have to bring money. Also, there are stores where you can find and buy handicrafts My experience there was ecstatic and exciting. I really recommend this place to someone who want to know all Antioquia in one place! 🤗🤩.

Pueblito Paisa is located in Medellin.
It is a beautiful place, it lasted 4 days and I enjoyed it a lot,
The last time I went was in January of this year and it was really great
On the days that I was there I visited the chapel and ate a paisa tray and I liked it a lot ^^ I also enjoyed when I went to the houses where crafts are exhibited.
I liked this trip too much since I got to know different things and at the same time enjoyed with my family.

Great place to get a 360 view of the city.

We had come to Medellin to see the Feria de Flores and everywhere we visited were examples of the flower displays
that are carried on people's backs. Here at this government production of a traditional antioquian village, was no exception. There are lots of shops with native handcrafts for sale, and places to eat local style food. The whole place is built in the middle of Medellin on a small wooded hill called Nutibara, complete with colonial replica structures, church and a tiny government photo museum. After visiting the church, we walked up to the museum which has a pretty good gift shop then on up the steps to the big area with its view of the Medellin Metro Line and the church Nuestra Senora del Perpetuo behind it. From anywhere in this area you can get a pretty good 360 view of the city and surrounding Hills.

TIP: Recommend catching a taxi, as it’s a steep to climb both ways. and far from the metro.

Do not purposely go here...if you are on a city tour you will stop here...great views of the city but not much else...I do not know what to call this village...basically a tourist trap with vendors...so if you are making your own tour of medellin...you can skip this

Disappointed

Under renovation. Lot of disappointing hype. Wish we had known ahead that it was under construction, would’ve spared ourselves.

Great views, very touristy

We enjoyed the view point but we're a bit overwhelmed by the venders and construction at the top. We tried to hike down the mountain, there were quite a few beautiful trails, but a local guy stopped us and told us it isn't safe due to muggers. Not sure if it's true or not but figured we wouldn't risk it. We were already about halfway down so we decided to turn around and head back up.

Even if this place wasn't undergoing noisy construction with heavy equipment and hot tar, it would still suck. Nothing to see or do, just food stalls.
Taxis unable to reach the top due to road closure.
As of Feb 17, 2020... don't bother.
