Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

we went on a weekday and had a great time. There were not many visitors and we almost had the slides to our selves. We took a metro to Niquia station and the a 15.minute taxi ride for 4 of us for 25000 pesos. Entrance to the park is also dirt cheap 12000 per.person. Food and snack are priced very good and no special park hikes as customary in other parks worldwide. Leaving there was no cable and the park staff advised is to hop on the bus. We crossed the highway and then jumped on the bus back to the metro. The park is very clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful but only speaks Spanish.

This place is located outside of Medellin, about an hour away; has good pools, waive pool, quiet river, and is a good place to spend a day with your famili and friends. Has restaurants inside the park, if you arrive early, you can get a kiosk to keep your stuff, you can bring your own food as well.

The park has many pools, sledges, toboggans, is quite fun on a sunny day. Its accessible going by metro until Niquia and from there by bus. Its crowded on weekends.

We went on a tuesday on a normal schoolday. It was hell. We were there for 4h and maybe did 4 slides. Less then half of the slides was open. More waiting then having fun. When we told the management they told us it was always like this.

Fun park; only 12.000 COP per person for admission. Bring cash or transferencia; credit cards only accepted when buying your tickets
BIGGGGGGEST THING --- many many many of the waterslides are closed. Have been for years apparently. Rumors are that they will reopen in summer 2025, but hey, it's Colombia. So it's a shorter lower key experience without them working. But still fun, especially with the wave pool.

Parque de las Aguas is only a 30-45 minute bus ride from Medellin, and we passed through Copacabana along the way. The slides were a blast, the lazy river was relaxing (but crowded in one section with tons of kids), and the pool with waves was also relaxing. Although we didn't eat there, we learned there were several options for grabbing a bite to eat.

Even though it's the off season for the area, we still had a great time. Some of the attractions weren't open, and it's certainly not a brand new park. However, we did have a good time. Make sure you bring flip-flops, and buy the little Lycra swim caps before or inside the park. ($2,000 COP-less than $1 USD). Decent restaurant choices, and information about the plants all around the park.
