The old paramount theater is quite lovely. It is need of restoration but interesting architecture. Lots of shops inside.

It was great to see the historic theatre still being used for production shows. Some of the other historic buildings along the boardwalk have fallen in disrepair. But this one was really an architectural gem. The red brick and decorative glazed ceramic tiles and designs...More

Went to see 2016 Happy Together Tour. Excellent show, great acts from Spencer Davis to Flo & Eddie (The Turtles) plus Gary Puckett, Mark Lindsey, Cowsills, Chuck Negron. Just wish the Theater AC was in working order that day as it was hot, hot, hot...More

AT the end of the boardwalk is an art deco building with seemingly no purpose. Maybe at one time it had, but Asbury Park fell on hard times, so did the building. There is a movie theatre inside and some non-descript shops a candy store...More

I attended an event earlier this month here. The last time I was inside the convention center (aside from the public area adjacent to the entrance) was as a kid many decades ago. This is an odd venue in a lot of ways. It was...More

I attended the Hot Tuna concert 12/7/17. I love the classic theaters and The Paramount is a quintessential example.

It is a comfortable old theatre with a lot of nearby parking (we attended a December concert). The volunteer ushers are friendly and helpful. The problem is the acoustics. The sound was disappointing.

I've played music with my band "the Fireplaces", for The light of day festival. It was so wonderful to play drums with the only italian band into this historical place, made famous by The Boss. The theater is big and cool, imponent and familiar at...More

We went to the Paramount Theater for a Lindsey Sterling concert. We enjoy going to old theaters and viewing the old architectures. Even though the chairs in the building are not the most comfortable, it was what everyone was laughing about in our area because...More

For the main part the walk through where shops are located at here isn’t one. Nor for the outside bar areas. However for the shows venue one is available.
