Great way to relax and travel to Tayrona NP and its lovely beaches. Staff and crew were professional and accommodating. Recommend using vendors recommended by the boat crew at the beach. Breezy day made for some bouncy moments enroute, but everybody took it in stride. Great day for a swim at the beach.

Boat was basically a party boat full of drunk Americans who didnt respect other people experience.

When we got to the park it was basically set up to fleece tourists. I wanted a mojito for me and my partner and they tried to charge us 70,000 COP then when I said I didnt want them they immediately took the price down to 30,000COP you get off the boat and are bombarded with people who see you as a walking wallet.

Do not take this tour if you are on a cruise ship. Customs held up our exit from the ship for over an hour and this tour left without us. We tried to contact them via phone to let them know we were delayed, and they did not answer. Finally, Viator and these folks took advantage of this kept our money for the trip and did not give us a refund for missing the trip for conditions outside of our control

Saw this boat in action and spoke with some customers. Not a good experience, suggest you book a different boat. We were on another larger sailboat, less expensive, less people and lots of fun.

This is billed as a "sailing tour" but the boat rarely deploys its sails. You power (slowly) out to Bahia Concha, which is probably the least attractive of the Tayrona beaches. It's a relaxing trip. On the return trip, they deployed the foresail for about fifteen minutes, then took it down again. The other sails were tightly wrapped in canvas and looked like they hadn't been used in months. There's good swimming from the boat, and nice scenery en route.; however, the beach is disappointing and there's no actual sailing.

Sorry yo did not enjoy the trip. We always motor up to bahia concha. if we were to sail there it would take us hours to get there. That's why we take the sail out when we come back with the wind. And we only use the genoa since we have an awning for shade. If we'd sail there you'd probably complain it took too long to get to our destination and that there was no shade on the boat. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Santa Marta.. Safe Travels

The day before, I had successfully finished the four day backpacking trek to the Lost City. Now, I needed to lounge and view the Caribbean Sea, before I returned to the States. I chose to stay on the sailboat, while others took a small boat to another location to snorkel or scuba.
I enjoyed the peace and quiet on the sailboat, while I ate the grilled fish cooked by the staff.
The blue emerald water looked inviting, I removed my scarf and hat to jump in wearing a sports dress. I also balanced my weight on the paddleboard. Santa Marta in Columbia has so much to offer to the mind and spirit of visitors.

We had an amazing day with Nick’s crew. Set sail from Santa Marta to a private beach deep in the Tayrona park. The snorkeling was spot on, gorgeous reefs and hundreds of fish! There’s also paddle surfboards or kayaks. They kept us fed with fruit, fish & local beer. We sailed home at dusk and enjoyed an amazing sunset (they even let my husband pilot the boat for a ways) Fantastic experience! I feel we have friends in Santa Marta now because of these great people.
