Located at the side of a pretty square this museum was very interesting. AC inside. The exhibits are in English mostly. There is interesting sections on Santa Marta and it’s history along with explanations about the people and culture along with some interesting old artefacts...More

Enjoyed the visit, enough for an hour. Plenty of history of Santa Marta and the area. There is really not much to see in Santa Marta, just about enough in the city for one day, so this is a must.

Get away from the crowded streets and see some history. It will take you less than 30 minutes to walk thru and read about most of the artifacts. What a pleasant break.
