Sitting right in the heart of Atlantic City an iconic landmark. A lot of history for nautical and lighthouse buffs. If you want to break up the casino/gambling monotony check it out.

This was a interesting piece of history in Atlantic city. It was great the you could still climb the steps to the top. It is kind of tight and winding staircase. Its 228 steps to the top; but there are landings along the way that...More

This was worth the walk. It's pretty cool, the ladies were very welcoming and helpful, the walk up was 228 steps, but worth it. The view was great. A really good place to take the kids, and the adults. They take your photo and everything.

Well worth the block or so "side trip" off the Boardwalk. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and readily answered all our "tourist questions". Gift area was neat and well stocked. We did not climb to the top. Very foggy and misting rain.

Yes, there is a charge if you want to go to the "top" and do a viewing of the area. Plus the volunteer who is up there, gives you a great story about the area and the lighthouse itself. Cost was $7.
