Sitting right in the heart of Atlantic City an iconic landmark. A lot of history for nautical and lighthouse buffs. If you want to break up the casino/gambling monotony check it out.

This was a interesting piece of history in Atlantic city. It was great the you could still climb the steps to the top. It is kind of tight and winding staircase. Its 228 steps to the top; but there are landings along the way that...More

This was worth the walk. It's pretty cool, the ladies were very welcoming and helpful, the walk up was 228 steps, but worth it. The view was great. A really good place to take the kids, and the adults. They take your photo and everything.

This is a cool lighthouse on the way north end of Atlantic City. I love these old lights and the history around them! I was kinda mad though because we drove all the way up there just to find out it was being rented out...More

I love lighthouses, and this one didn't disappoint. Wonderful staff. It is well-kept and interesting to tour. You don't have to climb all the way to the top to enjoy it. We didn't go to the top because we were on the 30th floor of...More

Well worth the block or so "side trip" off the Boardwalk. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and readily answered all our "tourist questions". Gift area was neat and well stocked. We did not climb to the top. Very foggy and misting rain.

I visited here for the Lighthouse Challenge in 2018 and got to climb at night. Well staffed to keep the traffic on the stairs and at the top manageable. Reasonable cost to climb. Great views of the city with all the lights. Nighttime is THE...More

Depends where on the boardwalk you are staying. The lighthouse is at the far end near Resorts casino. If you are on the other end of the boardwalk near the Chelsea it is quite far walk but it is doable. They also have the... More

Yes, there is a charge if you want to go to the "top" and do a viewing of the area. Plus the volunteer who is up there, gives you a great story about the area and the lighthouse itself. Cost was $7.
