We visit Atlantic City as a simple get away from NY area stress Each time we go we visit local food places, beaches like Ocean City NJ and the dance clubs Our first trip and several others included a visit to the comedy stop First off don’t sit in front unless you like to banter with the talent on stage  I don’t mind and enjoy a challenge but then they started to seat you were they wanted putting some up front and some nit  I guess they got use to me (or not) and moved towards the back of the room It has the energy of youthfulness but caters to all ages A good time and like all comedy places some are funny and some are not – either way a good value

This long time AC attraction has closed it's doors due to financial difficulties. I have enjoyed the several times I was there including the show the night before it closed. They used to be in a higher traffic area of the Tropicana, but moved at significant cost to a more remote spot on the second floor of The Quarter and just couldn't cover the cost according to the owner in a recent interview. At $25 to get in plus a one expensive drink minimum, the cost of watching relative amateurs rivaled the cost of going to the showroom and watching a headliner. The recession has not been kind to Atlantic City and this is just another casualty.

Very expensive to get in $25. You have to order 1 drink and that was very expensive also. Comedians were weak. Not a good experience.
