Stopped in here right after lunch. It was within walking distance so it was a nice time killer before checking into our hotel. We also had coupons for a $1.00 off each person, and it was already a pretty cheap admission It isn't the biggest...More
There is NOTHING to this place. If it were free, I wouldn’t be mad about wasting my time, but they should not be able to charge for that waste of space. Several of the “exhibits” are too small for the animals and the animals can’t...More
This is a simple little aquarium with just enough action for young children. Three hands-on - or I should say hands-in - tanks provided our three years old granddaughter with such excitement she made the rounds several time. Fun for adults to watch the little...More
My friend and I went to the aquarium without any kids. The staff is friendly and there are 2 floors of exhibits plus touching tanks and a 3rd floor with no fish. It was a very cute aquarium. The 3rd floor just has a deck/porch...More
We really enjoyed the Aquarium. It didn't take very long for the kids to walk through and excitedly see all the sights, but it was a good family activity. There are touch tanks where 2 finger touches of stingrays are optional. The kids thought that was...More
We try to see something different when we travel to AC, the first time was Lucy the elephant. This trip we decided to visit the aquarium. This was my first visit to any aquarium so I may not be the best judge. But I will...More
We decided to come here on a rainy day, looking for something somewhat inexpensive. Since everyone else wanted to visit they do stagger admitting people in the aquarium. We enjoyed our trip at the aquarium, but were about 10 years too late- sons being 16...More
Great for kids and the folks who love watching them be thrilled and delighted. This is local sea life. This is not Brooklyn, or Baltimore, or Monterey, some of the great national aquariums. This place is for children and the touch tanks alone are worth...More
During a rainy day in AC and cancelled boat ride, we decided to go against the TripAdvisor review suggesting otherwise, and checked out the aquarium. While on the small side, there was some interesting sea life to check out - nothing particularly spectacular or out...More
This aquarium was a fun, inexpensive way to spend a few hours on a hot afternoon away from the OC boardwalk. Used our $1 off pp coupon so it was even more affordable!
The hands on tanks were enjoyable and the stingray feedings were the...More

I wouldn't walk it. It's a cute area. We were there a few weeks ago and at that time the restaurants were open but not some of the smaller shops. It's not a huge area, but we enjoyed walking around (nice views) and although the aquarium was also small but very nice. All the personnel were well informed answered questions and helped the children get acquainted with the fish.
