On our October 2016 trip after dinner we decided to explore The pier shops.Every shop was very nice but expensive.Wish they would put some more affordable stores in their. I liked the fact that Wet Willie's was in there and there was a bar.

Also known as the "Playground Pier" ... It's a luxury shopping mall facing the Caesars. It is connected to the casino via a skybridge. It opened in 1906 as an amusement pier, then it was converted to a mall and got renamed a few time. Mainly, you will find upscale stores, and many are closed! ... not for the every... More

A lot of high end shops. If you don't want to mix with the real people in AC and you have lots of cash when shopping this is a good place.

I always like to com to The Pier and window shop, watch the water show and eat at the restaurants on the third level. It's a nice place for couples too!

Haven't been here for 2 years & boy has it changed! So many of the store fronts are empty. Still has nice selection of restaurants.

As the town, its casinos and boardwalk dwindle, so do the stores in the Pier Shops. Most of it is empty and the few stores that remain never seem to be busy, likely because they're usually expensive - Tiffany, Gucci, Louis Vuitton. Even Guess has pulled out. It's a shame because the concept - and indoor beach scene with ocean... More

We attended my sons wedding on 4th floor, called Atlantic 1. Terrific facility, great location, food phenomenal...outstanding staff, top notch affair. However rest of the place seems to be losing its tenants. Heard there is new ownership and they expect a resurrection.

Lots of good stores for all types of budgets. Beautiful atmosphere in the hallways and the upstairs buffet restaurant is great with seating that overlooks the beach/boardwalk.
