Fantastic job lace for diving and snorkeling. Only PROBLEM is that they need to fix the program and yours to the place. The divers chase away the sharks and the snickers miss that.
THE AUTHORITIES AHPULD NOT ALLOW DIVING TO HAPPEN WHEN SNORKEL AVTOVITIES ARE ON. Timing needs to be fixed .
That is the only thing the disappointed my friends. The divers were all over and so many of them…. Disturbing the sea life. Other than that it was lovely

Took a day trip with the family. Great snorkeling experience. Highlight was swimming with the tortoise. Our guide had a go pro and filmed each one of us underwater with the tortoise and fish and spotted manta rays. Beautiful experience.

We paid $130 each for a trip to Kicker rock, seemed a little pricey at the time but WOW the snorkelling around the rock was incredible. Turtles, sea lions, Surgeon fish, parrot fish, Galapagos sharks and best of all around 15-20 Hammerhead sharks!

My friend and i have enough experience of snorkeling but our experience around this rock was a bit rough since there were big waves there and we were not able to swim well, but we had a great experience around this rock and we saw an amazing sea life there.

Obviously, these things get subjective, but in my opinion the little channel between the rocks here is the best snorkelling conditions I have seen. Our group did a session close to the rocks in the morning and saw plenty of turtles, fish and even hammerhead sharks, but found the waters to be a little murky.
Session 2 later in the day was in the narrow channel that separates the rocks and this was crystal clear with amazing up close experiences with the wildlife. Fortunately, our guide dived too and took an amazing series of videos so we have memories of a lifetime.
As far as I can establish, it is all down to timing. Our second spot is not as busy and so relatively undisturbed conditions. The first place had alot of displaced sand and dust from recent activity and so viewing was not so good.

We went diving at kicker rock. It was amazing! On the way there we saw loads of dolphins who were playing in the waves of the boat. Then during both dives we saw Hammerhead sharks, the closest I have ever been, an unforgettable experience.

Turtles nothing more in murky water. Bring your own mask and snorkel or you might find it difficult with their crappy gear. Wet suit provided.

Was part of a 360 tour. This was our last stop for the day. Weather, boat, etc were all good. Snorkeling at Kicker was good. It is the luck of the day really... we did see lots of Turtles and fish.

Although we had lovely animal sightings - our group was involved in a bad accident. We had been told that two days before us there was an accident there; it had been raining and some rocks fell from the top and landed on the snorkelers - people were knocked unconscious underwater and others had broken bones. The cliffs are super high so even small rocks, with that far to fall - can cause serious damage. We were therefore told to swim 5-10m away from the cliffs at all times.
We got into the water, it was sunny. We swam 5m away from the cliffs. After 30 mins or so it started to rain, we were swimming near the mouth of the channel and suddenly the water turned white with bubbles of rocks raining down all around us - some the size of footballs, from 500ft high. We swam away as quickly as we could. 2 people in our group of 12 were bleeding profusely, another 4 were hit by the rocks but lightly or not bleeding. Other guests got the bleeding back to the boat. The guide, the captain and the other employees were just shouting at each other over who was most to blame. There was NO FIRST AID KIT on the boat, NONE of the 6 EMPLOYEES HAD FIRST AID TRAINING. We (the guests) had to use knives to cut towels into bandages to try to stop the torrent of blood of people we'd only met an hour ago. The boat headed back to San Cristobal, but it was a big slow boat. The captain should have radioed the surrounding boats to see if there was a faster one - or a first aid kit. He didn't - so as we cruised back to SC, other boats were overtaking us. It was 1 hour + of these people being in agony - bleeding from the head and arm - not sure of the damage - with no pain killers - dirty towels wrapped around them.
These two incidents happened within 2 days of each other. Apparently there's never been this issue at kicker rock previously. It's possible some birds are nesting closer to the edge than normal / creating a disturbance in the rocks above that's causing this sudden issue. If we had been IN the channel, and the rocks were inescapable, more people would have certainly been injured and perhaps died.

I am told Kicker Rock is currently closed - if / when it reopens and you do go - I'd advise checking for first aid kit, medical training, perhaps wearing a helmet, and the group being briefed on what to do in an emergency; eg if ANY of you see ANY rocks falling - tell the guide immediately, we need to get out the water.

We spent a wonderful morning going there (45 min) snorkeled for a solid hour and saw everything! Many hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, sea turtles, various rays and fishes. Blue footed boobies all around us on the rock and we also were lucky to see many dolphins who started swimming and jumping around the boat. We spent an hour on a beach with sea lions and iguanas before heading back. It was a 6 hour tour with 12 on board and two people went diving. Great experience!
