There is a very pleasant 1.5 mile walk to the beach if you leave early in the morning before it gets hot. You'll first be met by water iguana, then crabs, seagulls and pelicans. Not for swimmers, though. Current is strong.

This is a good place to come and swim with a sandy entrance into the sea. Great snorkelling as well.

Simply amazing beach. The first long beach is not good for swimming but the second smaller beach is calm and warm. Expect a bit of seaweed to wade through. Like the rest of the island. we saw a lot of wildlife...marine iguanas, herons, sea lions and other birds. Bring A LOT of drinking water and sunscreen.

Love this spot. So untouched, so natural, no much wildlife. Great snorkelling and & kayaking spot. Have been twice and will go again!

Almost a mile long stretch of pure white sand, with turquoise water. I have been to MANY beaches all over the USA, Europe, South America & Asia, and I can without question say that this is the most breathtaking beach I have ever seen.

It's a long but easy walk to this huge white beach so make sure you are prepared with good shoes, a cover up and loads of water. Water taxis are a good way to get back to the main port if you are getting fried and sticky. Don't swim on the main beach it's dangerous but rather enjoy the surreal... More

It takes about 45 to walk there from town, and you will get a large stretch of fine sand beach with many iguanas. If you plan to stay for about four hours, Come early in the morning, or around noon time. Waves are high on the main beach and there are many surfers but the beach is extremely gradual. At... More

Great beach with lots of iguanas! A bit of a walk but a good exercise well worth doing. You can even swim with the iguanas.

very remote, but very cool. You can see marine iguanas in their natural habitats and enjoy a calm day at the beach in the bay. Truly beautiful and clean, but take your hiking shoes because it is about a 30 min walk from the entrance to the beach
