We hired a taxi to take us here and spent an hour exploring tidal pools, walking on the beach, and photographing birds and scenery. You could spend more time swimming. There are bathrooms available. It takes 30 minutes to get there from town.
We visited during the week and it wasn't busy at all. Very calm beach, has a small area for snorkeling. We saw sea cucumbers, crabs and small fish.
Recommend renting a Kayak and visiting the beach across, we saw tons crabs. We paid $10 for...More
Definitely worth visiting this beach that is half an hour from Puerto Ayora. There are many birds and iguanas. You can also do kayaking. The path to the beach is well cared for and it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the entrance to...More
We stopped here during one of our day trips and it was a beautiful beach to swim and sun at. The walk to it from the parking lot is long but easy and there are no amenities here other than a spectacular view and beach...More

It's easy to book trips when in the Galapagos. Your risk is that tours are full but it gives you flexibility and also the chance of cheap deals. We spent a week there and before arriving we only booked a hotel for the first night then we played it by ear. We went on a good 2 day tour to Isabella island and a one day tour to Bartolema Island, both of which is highly recommend.
