Calm and peaceful with no thrills. Literally, nothing there worth mentioning. However, it is a favorite location due to the slow pace and natural beauty.

It's a great stop for families, safe surroundings. Few vendors. Beach is never crowded there are several lunch options.

We really liked San Lorenzo the beach is nice and has turtle protected nesting areas. Not much else there.

Just amazing views from the beach. Clean beaches and plenty of shops for dining. Enjoy this romantic day trip with your significant other.

Swim at your own risk. Great view. Bring your tent and plenty of snacks if you are traveling with kids. Lovely sand. You can walk along the beach longer than 2 hours...

I am not sure about snorkeling in this area. But nearby at the Pacoche Reserve is where you could capture hummingbirds. Good snorkelling is at Isla de la Plata...turtles..parrot fish..more fish!! we loved our day there.

Isla Corazon is a beautiful mangrove forest refuge with a huge population of Frigate birds.
