Poseidon Divers is a 5* PADI Career Development Centre with more than 20 years experience in diving in the Red Sea. Daily guided diving trips to the world famous Blue Hole and best dive sites in Dahab. All PADI Courses available. Team of professional, experienced and enthusiastic Divemasters and Instructors. Tailor made all inclusive dive packages with Hotel Blue Beach incl breakfast (swimming pool, restaurant, sun roof, beach bar, sports bar, Free Wifi) and airport transfer. Returned for 10 days of diving after a great 2 weeks last year.
Great organisation & customer focus from internet booking, airport transfers &, in my case, a little extra help for a silver fox diver.
They also booked my accomodation in the adjacent Blue Beach Hotel(3*) with no deposits required. Diving was all shore based, although boat diving was available at extra charge. Great range of sites with daily start times set by the diver. plenty of variety in fish life & topography. Highly recommend Poseidon & Dahab to divers who want a more laid back diving holiday below & above the water.

It was a great experience!!! We went for four days, three dives a day one day from a boat and everything was just perfect. Ali arranged and took care of everything! The service and diving equipment was excellent. Our guides, Lala and Jalal were so professional and so calm. Many thanks to you all at Poseidon Diver!

I passed my Padi certificate 15 years ago and had only done one dive since. So I was a bit nervous and just wanted to have a refresher dive. The guys at Poseidon hooked me up with an instructor and all the gear. I was given a recap of all the equipment I got kitted out in a short wetsuit, shoes, flippers, mask, oxygen etc
I was given some instruction about the gear, including inflating and deflating the jacket to make you sink and rise. I tested my oxygen via the mouthpiece a few times and did the same for my emergency one. Finally, everything seemed to be in order, and a large trolly on wheels arrived, pulled by the staff. We loaded all the dive gear on, and off we went.
We quickly reached the shore of the Red Sea at a safe dive entry point, waded out in the calm water, and got to just over waist height. A few words from the instructor guided me to try all the gear underwater but at a very shallow depth, and then down we go. We started to swim while dropping in depth considerably. Before I knew it, I must be 6 meters down, which seemed pretty deep. I had the instructor in my field of vision the whole time, and on the way down, he kept checking if I was Ok using the international diving sign of joining the tip of your index finger with your thumb. A-OK
Whilst I was nervous as I hadn’t been at that depth since the barrier reef, I was reassured by my instructor, who made me feel safe; we got to around 12 meters in total which felt deep.
I saw sea anemone with their clown fish residents, lionfish with their poisonous fins, there were large parrot fish and corals of every colour; it was mind-blowing. I loved it so much that I booked another dive with Poseidon.
The second day was probably the best dive experience I have ever had. I was very relaxed with my instructor and enjoyed every minute of it. The reef was beautiful and I can’t wait to do it again!

I had some of the best divings ever. Shady the guide is so professional & skilled but on the same time calm & pleasant. I enjoyed the company of Hadar who soon becomes a great dive master. Both of them helped my wife with her first intro diving with so much calm & paitiance. Thank you both for such a great experience.

This dive center looked very busy so I thought that was a good sign. And my instincts were right! I was hooked up with Rose, a Dahab instructor with many years of experience and she made me feel so comfortable. I absolutely loved it and cant wait to come back1 Thank you so much, Nada! I will be back for my OW course soon!

This has become a shameful dive centre. With Max Fischer running things Poseidon have become so desperate for money they refuse to repay money they agree they owe me, or make it available to a local Egyptian Diving Instructor to collect. Theft and exploitation by Max Fischer.......you shameful snake. With such dishonest management practices, think carefully about anything Mr Fischer says especially if your putting your health and safety is at risk.

There are many Dive Centers in Dahab and it can be quite overwhelming to make the right choice.
After I was diving with a few different Dive Centers in Dahab, I decided to stay at Poseidon.
Why? First of all, I am sure we can agree that the first impression counts, and at Poseidon that was the case. When I arrived at Poseidon, Shahad the Manager was very friendly and welcoming. I noticed at once how well organized, neat, and tidy the dive base is. Furthermore, the communication about the dive schedule was impeccable. We exchanged what's app numbers and Shahad responded always immediately, easy and uncomplicated.
Secondly, in my point of view, customer service is extremely important. I told Shahad what I am interested in and what I would like to do (slow dives and taking pictures at Lighthouse) and he did organize a very experienced dive guide for me. Mamdo is the best!!! He has such good knowledge and knows every dive side by heart. He is serious about the diving rules but also entertaining. Diving with him is so much fun! I specifically was looking for seahorses and he would find two for me in an area where no other divers would be. Just awesome. I also had a wonderful night dive with him.
So to sum up my review, if you're looking for a good dive experience with a reliable dive center then choose Poseidon.

I stayed at blue beach hotel and partook in two days of diving with Posideon Divers which were some of the best dives I’ve done. All the staff were wonderful and the equipment was in good shape. They were flexible with what I wanted and I dived one on one with Eid who was great to dive with - very calm in and out of the water and made me feel very comfortable- highly recommend

Hi Chris,
I'm afraid we no longer offer tech services. It is something we did in the past, but we now concentrate 100% on recreational diving. Air and Nitrox is what we do and we focus on doing that well.

Just to clarify my previous answer, we only deal in tanks of air and nitrox.
