Thanks to Ahmed for the prompt replies to my many emails setting up eventually a total package – transfer from Taba to Dahab, climb Mt Sinai, snorkelling in the 3 pools, desert experience being walking the white and coloured canyons and finally getting me to Sharm El Sheikh airport. My 3 short nights / 2 days in Dahab was packed full.
The various local guides used were great though more time could have been spent inside the St Catherine Monastery itself. Blankets and mattresses were available for hire at the top of Mt Sinai and this was well worth it for US$3 each as it was that day bitterly cold and we had a bit of a wait before the sun rise. It was winter after all!
I certainly recommend Dahab Safari Day Tours.
The various local guides used were great though more time could have been spent inside the St Catherine Monastery itself. Blankets and mattresses were available for hire at the top of Mt Sinai and this was well worth it for US$3 each as it was that day bitterly cold and we had a bit of a wait before the sun rise. We booked a last minute one day tour with Dahab agency. The agency replayed to all the questions that we had on time and it was easy to communicate. From plane tickets to lunch/ transfer and guide it was arranged by the company. Once everything was booked, we received all the information about the guide(contact number/name and all other details)
The transfer from the hotel in Sharm El Sheikh to airport was on point, even a little bit earlier to make sure that we arrive on time.
When we arrived in Cairo, Yaesr(our guide) was already expecting us on arrivals. Yaesr was very welcoming and he let us know before going to the car transfer all the information about the itinerary( from where we will start, all the stops and details about the day).
During the trip, our guide gave us all the details about the pyramids, history behind, replayed to all the questions that we had, telling us even the old Arabic names for all the places/ details that were shared.
We always felt safe and welcomed during our trip. Lunch was at a local restaurant and after it, we had one more h to visit the Khan El-Khalili bazaar. To wander a lil bit on the streets of it with our guide where he told us different aspects about it.
After the bazaar, the last stop was back at the airport where the driver let us right in front of the entrance.
Overall, it was a great experience and if we are coming back, for sure we will organize another trip with the agency.

I booked. Couple of tours with Dahab for my trip to Egypt in January 2023.
Firstly, communication with Dahab was flawless. They responded very quick to initial emails, after which all communicated via WhatsApp. Very swift and helpful responses. The team were on the ball.all the time, from initial enquiries to booking and even after booking.
Secondly, they were very helpful in planning pir trips. Even when I wasn't sure what I wanted, they were very helpful in making suggestions and making sure that my days were utilised to the maximum.
In Cairo, we had an entire day to ourselves as we waited for our midnight plane back to Sharm. They could have just left us to our own devices after our tour but they ensured that both the driver and guide spent the entire day with us until airport drop off, making sure that, as 2 lone women, we weren't left alone.
As far as customer service, I give top marks and woild recommend to all.
The tours, we booked the Combined Sunset and Sunrise hike in Sinai Mountains and the Pyramids of Giza....both tours were amazing. We were well looked after, the driver came on time and all of our tour guides were brilliant. The itinerary of both tours and activities that Dahab booked for us were brilliant.
Top marks and could not speak higher of them

We booked this Bedouin dinner tour with Dahab Safari Day Tours, which is advertised as a camel ride, dinner (and perhaps shisha/hookah) in a Bedouin tent, and stargazing at night. Instead, we were picked up at 9pm (instead of the advertised 7pm) by Jeep, joined by another couple, taken to an outdoor concert venue (no camel), fed a foil-wrapped dinner, and watched a dance and fire show until 11pm, at which point we had to ask the other couple and our driver permission to return to Dahab. While this experience may be enjoyable for some, we were looking forward to a peaceful evening, interacting with some Bedouins, and stargazing up in the mountains. Instead, we watched what was basically a rave with electronic music and a series of dances and fire stunts. No part of this experience was authentic or Bedouin in nature, and the saddest part is that we were looking forward to seeing some stars, but couldn’t see the sky because of all of the lights from the show. We went to Dahab Safari Day Tours the next day and told them about our experience, and instead of offering to make it right or apologizing, the owner became very argumentative, stating that other travelers booked the same tour and enjoyed their experience. We finally settled on a partial refund for half the amount of the booking, but the most frustrating part is that we lost one of the few evenings we had in Dahab, when we could have planned something more enjoyable with that time.

We booked 3 activities through this company. I wanted to mention the quad biking trip as this would be worth booking with another company. All the tyres were bald & my bike had no headlights which is downright dangerous coming back over rough ground at night. The tour guide introduced himself as Nemo & clearly thought himself hilarious. He kept pestering me for small amounts of extra money which I don’t mind giving as the amounts were so small but when I queried it he called me a ‘difficult woman’. He claimed he told me about the extras which is not true. It would be easier to just include everything in the tour price to avoid this unpleasantness
We also booked our airport taxi for $25 & the driver was lovely
Also booked the Bedouin fire show evening which was entertaining I would suggest you don’t bother with the food though

I took the Three Pool/quad/camel ride tour and was very satisfied with the services. Everything was organized very spottily, although I booked it last minute. The staff involved were very attentive and professional, and took in to account what we wanted. I recommend Dahab Safari Day Tours without hesitation.

My family of 6 and I initially only booked the St. Catherine tour via Dahab Safari but they were so responsive and provided the most competitive pricing that I decided to book our remaining tours in Cairo, Dahab, and Luxor through Dahab Safari. Ahmed, the owner, is always available by Whatsapp so any last minute changes like a customization to the tour or an urgent taxi need can be arranged by him right away - again, at a competitive price. Dealing with one tour agency for all of my needs in Egypt, when I do not speak Arabic, made everything so much more streamlined.

Egypt, because of its rich past of the BC period, marvelled by extraordinary and magnificent ancient archeological presence, makes it obligatory and essential for the tour agents to maintain and fulfil the commitment with the people who wish to visit this country with ancient sites.
So the commitment and responsibility required by an agent, did match well with our agent Dahab Safari Day tour for the purpose. I believe they would be as par excellence with any individual or group of tourists who wish to negotiate with Dahab to deal for visit to Egypt. Our tour with Dahab fulfilled the basic responsibility and commitment. However for our entire tour, it was very good for site visit, food, transport and airport support. Nile tour was praiseworthy. Tourists may consider them as an reliable agent.

I did the Sunset and sunrise Sinai Mount and was an amazing experience, the guide Yamil was very kind and the other people on the camp in the top of the mountain were nice and they prepared for me a very tasty and good Bedouin dinner and breakfast. The driver was nice, very comfortable car with air conditioning. The only thing I wish was to do another route more challenging to get to the top of the mountain. But as was on Ramadan and the guide was fasting I could not asking for that. I really recommend to everyone to do this tour with this agency.

We did the day trip to Petra (myself and my 19 and 13 year old daughters)and it was such an amazing adventure. The company was very good at communicating before the trip and letting us know what we needed to bring. It is a long day so prepare yourself with an early night and bring lots of water and snacks. We also took our pillows to make sleeping more comfortable when we needed it.
The reward of seeing Petra was unbelievable and our guide brought the history to life. He was incredibly knowledgeable.
All aspects of entering and exiting the countries and the Petra site were incredibly smooth and easy.
I thoroughly recommend this trip.

Hi, I am travelling to Luxor at the end of May. At the beginning of June, we (two of us) would like to do a trip to Sanai. Have a jeep ride, camel ride etc. to see St Catherines, stay with the Bedouines and see the sights for 4 or 5 days incorporating some swimming and snorkeling. We do not want to go with a big group of tourists but prefer to go with a smal group or just the two of us with a guide. Is there a good way of doing this anyone can recommend, so that we are actually staying in the dessert to see the stars and experience Sinai without masses of tourists?Really grateful for any suggestions either by former travellers or by Dahab Safari tours. Please include costs as well. Answers in German or English please, thank you very much
