A friend is a member of the kite club so she recommended this place in the north of El Gouna. There is always lots going on even if you are not a kiter. Their chicken avocado quesadilla is excellent – we had it three times. The table service downstairs is good but upstairs is spotty, so you may have to go down and organize your food yourself.

There are different places and levels to sit, an upstairs unheated pool, and many other services for kiters. They have a well-stocked shop for water sports clothes and accessories. The restroom was clean and well-maintained.

The beach boys, especially Kiko are non stop launching, landing and stopping idiots from doing silly things. The beach front would be a disaster without them.

Facilities are good, several compressors along with showers, storage and drying racks.

Restaurant provides good tasty food and is reasonably priced as European prices go so it's average for El Gouna.

Restaurant service staff deserve a medal as they put up with all sorts of nonsense. We watched a guy get gis strawberry juice then told the service guy to wait as he tasted it like a fine wine. The service guy asked if it was ok and the customer just motioned "wait"...after a few minutes and half the drink consumed, the customer finally waved the service guy away. Some people have zero self awareness of how they behave!

Nice place to kite and chill out

I just spent 4 days at Elements and the spot is great for both beginners and pros. It’s a bit outside of town but easy to reach via tuk-tuk.

Pro:
There’s little influence from the tides so you can basically kite all day, if you have wind. Also, you can basically stand until 1km out from the shore and there’s only very few sharp stones in the water. Almost everybody kites without shoes and so did I. Food and drinks are solid and fairly priced, the beach boys are mostly helpful and support you. There will always be someone help you launching your kite etc.

Against:
I was renting grear for 4 full days and would not do it again. Material is in poor condition (harness, bars, boards) and the F2 kites are of s*** quality. Definitely upgrade to Noth if you can afford but even then you’ll have to live with old harnesses and boards. Often when I wanted to kite, the kite I was for was not available/given to another customer. Every day I would get a different (bad) board etc.
The relation between the management/reception staff and the teachers/beach boys is very poor and not aligned.

So definitely go there when you want to kite in El Gouna but never ever rent from them, the service could not be poorer (and I rented in 7 different spots before!).

staff very friendly, good prizes, and the most important thinkg you have to know is that here there is DEEP WATER and NO REEF! so you can kitesurfing very safetly.
don't go to kbc, it s dangerous, you will break your board on the reef and you juat kite 3hours by day because no water.
there is also a professional photomaker that with only 25€ make you wonderful photo all weeks long. repair kite very soon and logical prizes

Second time to El Gouna. Couldn't remember much from the first time so it was like starting fresh.

I visited all the stations to see what was the best fit for us and for future visits to El Gouna (definitely want to come back more regularly). Didn't like the vibe in KBC at all. Having worked in a number of windsurfing & kitesurfing centers over the years I would say they could definitely work on their customer approach. Maybe I got them on a bad day. When I asked do they take local currency they looked at me like i had two heads. Same thing when I asked do they take card (which is standard these days !).

I would have to say Elements was the best station we visited hands down (great staff lead by Jenny Tyler, best facilities on the beach, great general vibe & nice people). The whole team were super friendly and nothing at all was an issue or couldnt be solved.

They definitely have the best facilities on the beach. Great launch area, chill out area, food etc. I would nearly go as far as saying its one of the best stations i've been from all my travels and time spent working in the industry (Brazil, Hawaii, Dominican Republic, Tarifa, Greece).

Perfect for families or groups of friends.

I also got a kite repaired at Elements. Really professionally job by the repair specialist George (also an absolute gent).

Will defiantly make this place my base any time I visit El Gouna

I also really like the kite area (and I kited in front of all stations over the trip). Lots of space, great beginners area for learns and the best lagoon I could find just downwind.

I went at the start of November- had great wind all week. I was on a 9m. Could have done with a 12m the first 2 days but the rest of the trip 9 was perfect.

One of my friends was learning. He also had a great week.

My advice: straight to Elements if you are unsure which station!

I have kite in many countries over the last 2 years, and was very impressed that such purpose built kite/wind-surf station has been made to make the experience of kiting even more fun! Element has well thought-out and designed facilities. Clean toilets, showers, gear cleaning and storage, restaurant with good food, even a massage therapist :-), and loads of chill-out areas!! Lots of space on this huge flat water spot so never feel over crowded. A bit of a drive to get to being in the far corner of El Gouna, but well worth it. A little more expensive than other places in the Hurghada area but the best facilities, so no regrets. Great service, smiling and always helpful. I prepaid a week usage of the facility, and after 4 days injured my ribs so couldn't kite, and they were so good about it, and refunded me a few days!! I will definitely visit again. A general note for beginners, booties are a must anywhere in Hurghada area as there are shells, stones and broken corals hiding in the cleanest looking sand. :-)

My husband and I went to Element to learn how to kitesurf for 2 weeks. The instructor, Islam, got us both up and riding on the first afternoon. It was absolutely fantastic. The kites are in great condition, the wind blows on shore (you won't get blown out to Saudi Arabia if you are a beginner :-)), and all the team are super informative and want people to succeed at kitesurfing.
Although we paid for only a few hours of lessons, the staff were always watching us and giving us hints and pointers throughout the two weeks. The progression we made was remarkable. It was also commendable that the staff were enthusiastic to teach every kind of person with every age, body type, and athletic ability.
The place is very chill. Great food, great music (I shazammed A LOT!), hygienic toilets (always a huge plus), lockers, showers, free shuttles to El Gouna, and in general, the customer base is also excellent. We made a lot of great friends on this trip.
I must say, compared to other kite spots on the Red Sea, Element has the finer sand and the least amount of sharp rocks. I recommend all beginners to wear booties regardless.
Seriously, when you kite out just less than 1 kilometer from shore, the sea is absolutely gorgeous. I literally kite surfed over a sea turtle! Flipping amazing. Saw puffer fish, rays, and other life.
Best vacation ever. As per the kitesurfing, it is just the best ride and with practice on the kite, yep, you can get high.
To the entire team at Element, THANK YOU

Short version
This is a super place for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Don't look any further. You will be amazed and happy. Great location, fantastic personnel, super food, great ambiance - all you need is there. Go!

Longer version
This place is amazingly good for watersports like kitesurfing and windsurfing. All the details they have thought through to give you a good time at the beach with your hobby. The location is great, with a very large lagoon that is rideable in both high and low tide (low tide short fins if you windsurf). Depth between knee deep to waist high. Perfect for practicing things what ever level you are at. Or just blast around. The "beach boys" help you launch and land, they set up the things if you want to, they give you a tip if you want it, they take care of the things after with rinsing and drying. Even the food is amazingly good. You don't expect anything memorable from lunch at a kite spot, but this place have a great menue and they do it so well. All of the steps in your day at the beach have been thought through, even the kids area is very ambitious. All family members what ever age will be happy. I can't stop praising this place, as you have noticed. Also, El Gouna in general is the best part of Red Sea Egypt. The top pick.

Just arrived here today after spending kite safari for one week and another week at soma bay. Element at El Gouna is simply awesome even thought this is my first day. Great facilities - from storage to showers to change room to where your equipments can be cleaned. Good bar and restaurant and lounge where you can just hang around and relax after a kiteboarding sessions. The area for kiteboarding is HUGE with flat shallow water but you can go out around 500m into deep water if you want. Only thing that I would caution you (which has nothing to do with Element) is that ground is not so soft with sands. Lots of rocks and shells so wearing boots is highly recommended. I didn’t wear boots and my feet are suffering but Element’s awesome facility more than makes up my painful feet. Highly recommended for any kiters planning to visit Egypt!
