Magnificent mosque, beautiful interior with lots of interesting architecture, and most interesting carpet with prayer spaces in the pattern

We had to hire galabaya's to go inside, but not expensive for the experience. Beautiful architecture. We were told it was built by donations, worth a look if you are in the area.

We loved our stop at the mosque. It is a beautiful building in side and out and we really enjoyed our time here. Women are given clothing to wear over the street clothes.

I have seen/visited many mosques but none of them was so stunning as El Mina. Would suggest to visit it during afternoon hours to avoid massive tourist groups and have more time to enjoy the beauty of El Mina.
