Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I do a fair bit of karting in the UK and was looking forward to some racing in the sun. Being well on the pricey side, I made contact with Ghibli before I left the UK via Email to try to arrange a discount for multiple sessions. An extremely frustrating experience - Multiple emails ignored. By getting the receptionist at my hotel to ring a few times before somebody answered and telling them to check their Emails, I finally got a reply. After a slow and convoluted email exchange, I finally negotiated an acceptable (but still very high) price for four sessions.

When I turned up at the place, they tried to put me in a lower class of kart than had been arranged. I showed the receptionist the email trail where our agreement was written in black and white and she acknowledged that I was right but was not allowed to make a decision and had to repeatedly call a manager on the phone - ridiculously, there was nobody in the venue empowered to make a decision. I spoke to the manager on the phone with whom I had made the arrangement but he would not back down despite me reading the emails back to him.

So after spending huge amounts of time emailing the place and a wasted journey to the track, I left without so much as a sniff of a kart as the manager would not honour an agreement made in writing.

Dishonest behaviour, shocking business and a real unpleasant experience all round.

My partner and I went go karting as part of a bundle excursion we bought.

We got a five minute warm up and then 5 laps after qualifying.

There were only four of us on the track but would have probably preferred there to be more - more competition :-) ha

They provide you with overalls and helmet and a great briefing so that you know what you are doing.

The photographer there was awesome, we were gutted that we didn't take any money with us to buy any photographes.

The only thing I would have done different is book it separately rather than with another excursion as we would have had more time and laps. But otherwise it was fantastic and of course I beat my boyfriend :-)

This was and still relatively is the best carting track in Egypt. It lost its touch a bit in the last 5 years but in general, a great experience. There is single and double for 15 laps and 20 laps. Make sure to enter your names and activate the automated timer so that you know your time. The price is around 20$ or 360EGP for single 15 laps rounds. You can also negotiate with the camera man who can take a lot of pics for you while in your race.

Spent an evening at the raceway which was just a great deal of fun .
I went with a group from my dive club , a mixture of old and young ,men and women .
Everyone had a fun time .they look after you , make it as safe as possible.
The track and amenities are better than anything I've see in the U.K .
Try to go on a Sunday , it's cheaper .

He husband enjoyed this experience. He is nearly 80 yearsa old, but is game to try most things! He would have preferred a day-light ride, as he found it rather difficult to adjust to the lights.

Went to the raceway at the start of November, was £23 each for a warm up and ten laps. Tyres were shredded and gouged, front tyres were not symmetrical, steering pulled to the left.

To top it off, you couldn't see out the visors.

They could do alot better if they sorted it out. Waste of money and time for anyone that Is interested in a bit of racing.

Cars are terrible, the track is covered in grit which constantly showers you. When we arrived the place was empty apart from two blokes who had been kept waiting for 2 and half hours because the staff did not want to drag the karts out for just 2 people. We agreed that we would get 15 minutes racing for 20 pounds per person but they raised the chequered flag after 9 and then had the ordasity to say that all 7 of us had misunderstood the deal. The track is far too big for the cars and non of the cars run as they should. Some cars were substantially slower than others and a couple of them would lose power whilst cornering. I would describe its as a kart driving experience as there is no possible way of implementing any sort of competitiveness due to the set up. This is not a malicious review but and actual account of our experience. We would definitely NOT recommend as all of us left being extremely disappointed and feeling ripped off. Please do not waste your time or money.

This is a rip off... 15 Laps for £20 per person - Slow Karts and a photographer takes and follows you every where. Even if so tell him in advance you dont want any/ buying any photos.

Went there last week, the track was good although not all of it was open sadly, but my experience was ruined due to the other people who seemed to be playing bumper karts which resulted in my kart being broken on the 2nd corner, I had to stand at the side and wait for a new cart to arrive while everyone was racing around? (Not fun at all) They could of stopped the race as it only the first lap and 2nd corner, in the result I only did 7 laps instead of 10, bit of a disappointment when you pay £25, but would go again with people who knew how to drive as it was fun, just a shame it was ruined by idiots.

All kit was provided, good quality karts and a nice track. It wasn't really a proper race, we started straight out the pits. Would have been better if the there was a proper grid start. No cameras are allowed by the track, so if you want pics you have to buy them.
I may go again, depends on who I go with.
