Anthias Divers is a European owned and managed 5* PADI Instructor Development dive centre located at the Fayrouz Resort on the beachfront in the heart of Na’ama Bay, Sharm el Sheikh. We specialise in tailor made diving packages for groups and solo divers, in addition to families with children and buddy teams. We offer courses from PADI Discover Scuba Diving (“try dive”) all the way through to Instructor level courses. Having been active in the Red Sea for over 20 years, we pride ourselves on being THE FRIENDLY DIVE CENTRE with a personal touch.

Great friendly professional dive company. Refresher course with Khalid really put me at ease and didn’t feel like it had been years since my last dive. Then boat trip with two dives, Akram was great guide and made the dive really enjoyable. Ben and Kim on the refresher course and boat were also brilliant.
We would definitely use Anthias again.

Having not dived for a number of years we came here for a refresher and the hope of doing some diving after. The team here were excellent. They are incredibly professional and went through our refresher course patiently and thoughally. Khalid our instructor was great. We then booked a days diving. Akram was our guide for the day and again was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. Thanks also to Ben and Kim. Will definitely be using Anthias in the future. 5 stars

I visited Anthias to complete my Advanced Open Water Course.
During my visit I met the most wonderful people. From my instructor Khaled to Akram. However most of all I would like to thank Ben and Kim. During my stay they was completing their Dive Master and assisted me and guided me through my Advanced OW and Nitrox course. I would like to say that I assisted them too but predominately it was them supporting me. This seems to me the norm at Anthias. It is very relaxed, everyone gets along and supports each other. Although I travelled alone Kim and Ben made me feel most welcome and I shared a number of meals with them and the rest of the team. Can’t wait to return and I hope the rest of the crew are there when I return.

I cannot recommend Anthias divers enough.
When you begin your research about diving in Sharm you are met with endless choices and options, but thankfully I was pointed in this direction by recommendation and I am very very grateful.
Firstly their safety is fantastic, we did a check dive off Naama Bay with the lovely Kayleigh, and then we did two days of diving in Tiran and Ras Mo, my divemaster for these trips was Yousef and he was really brilliant, we were fortunate enough to have a small group and he did his utmost to avoid the crowds while provide a safe and enjoyable dive every time, and he is just a generally bubbly lovely person! The boat crew was wonderful I can fault absolutely nothing about this trip at all only that I wasn’t there for longer to do more! Thanks for the amazing memories guys.

If you are not sure which of the multitude of dive companies in Sharm to pick, then pick Anthias. We had a wonderful few days diving with them. They were patient with me (3 years since my last dive) and super helpful when my husband kept having trouble with his own mask, lending him many until we got it right! I can honestly say that I fell in love with diving on this trip. And we are booked to come back in December already! :) Big thanks to the whole team and especially both Kalids, Badr, Yousef and Kayleigh for your help. Home now and unpacking our dive kit and wishing we were back in Sharm!

Without doubt one of the best, if not the best center I’ve ever dived with. The center crew are absolutely amazing. James and Kalid run a very friendly operation. The center as a great social scene with all the divers electing to go back to the center after the days dive to just hang out and have a post dive beer. The guides and instructors are as professional as you would expect for a company of this caliber and nothing seems too much trouble for them. From guiding my son through is Advanced and Nitrox course to picking us up from the Hotel at 0400 to takes us to meet the boat they arranged for us to go on to dive the Thislegorm including providing us with 15 Ltr Nitrox tanks to make the most of this magnificent wreck. Whenever we needed anything at all they were only to happy to help.
A special mention in dispatches must go to Akram, his quiet confidence, knowledge and experience make everyone feel safe and confident not mention that he is one one of the hardest working people I have ever had the honour of meeting. Also a big shout out to Moutas (sp?) and Yousef for there local knowledge and fabulous proffesionalism.
James I can’t thank you enough for the trip of a lifetime.
Will we be back. Ohhhhh yea it’s already planned.
So if you want to dive Sharm el Shiekh with the best look no further.

Best center ever. Great team and management and always safety first. The Center is in the heart of naama bay with a great house Reef and their boat trips are amazing small groups and great guides if I could give 10 stars I would.

First class dive operator. Small groups and very personal service. Everything very well organised and super smooth. Pick ups from hotel to boat always on time. Small dive groups matched to abilities for diving so dive times were maximised. Guides excellent and very friendly and professional.
Shore dives arranged to suit.
I needed help with kit as have a bad back and all guides and crew were incredibly helpful and efficient.
Highly recommended club type dive operator.
Have been diving in Sharm many times (700 plus dives) and I would definitely say that Anthias is the best dive shop!

I had booked a trip to Sharm El Shake. 24. Feb. 2023 to 5. mars 2023 There I saw that there were a few people who taught diving. I'd been adjusting for a long time to learn how to dive. I had started studying diving here in Iceland and had done all my theoretical studies at home. E-learning. I found this great school online and booked myself there. The day after I arrived in Sharm I went to school and there everything was ready and waiting for me and all the equipment was ready and fit all. I was going to qualify as an Open Water Diver. The lessons began in a swimming pool where all the compulsory exercises were reviewed and then they went into the sea and started diving. What a place dived in between coral reefs which are very beautiful and a lot of colored, fish big and small everything is great. For the next three days, I was studying with a private tutor, John Abd Elmeseh. I will remember his great teacher and companion. the last dive was at Fanur Beach and was even more beautiful. After four days of training and teaching, I was completely confident in what needed to be done to be a diver. I highly recommend this company Anthias Divers and especially my teachers. Everything was done with great honor and I am indescribably grateful to have chosen this company.

My boyfriend had dived before, albeit not for 4/5 years, and I had never done it before in my life! So we weren’t sure how we could dive on the trip without being completely separate everyday.
We arrived and spoke to Kat who helped us with a plan, giving us all our options and explaining how everything would work - two days later and I was starting my open water course with my partner doing his scuba review and we continued to have 4 absolutely unforgettable days of diving!
I loved the diving, it was so much more calm and peaceful than I’d ever have expected, but Kat made the experience what it was. She made me feel so safe and kept my nerves at bay, she made me feel confident and capable, and I finished the course feeling like a proper diver!
We finished the trip with a night dive, a really beautiful, calm and humbling experience - I feel so lucky to have seen such beautiful things and been with such wonderful company. I cannot thank Kat enough, she absolutely made the whole trip for me and I’m so grateful that she was the one to introduce me to the world of scuba diving!
Also shoutout to Akram - a lovely friendly face who couldn’t do enough for you.

I am sorry but to scuba dive you should be able to swim. You can't be comfortable under the water if you are not comfortable on the surface.
