Anthias Divers is a European owned and managed 5* PADI Instructor Development dive centre located at the Fayrouz Resort on the beachfront in the heart of Na’ama Bay, Sharm el Sheikh. We specialise in tailor made diving packages for groups and solo divers, in addition to families with children and buddy teams. We offer courses from PADI Discover Scuba Diving (“try dive”) all the way through to Instructor level courses. Having been active in the Red Sea for over 20 years, we pride ourselves on being THE FRIENDLY DIVE CENTRE with a personal touch.

Having just returned to the UK after spending 8 days diving with Anthias Divers I would like to say how professional the are. They operate a very good covid practice in the centre and the boats were not over crowded. The dive sites are in amazing condition. I will definitely be returning very soon. Thank you to the manager Beth and her staff for a great time.

Like many businesses around the world currently, we are learning to adapt to the "new normal" with regard to keeping both staff and guests safe from COVID and it is fabulous to hear that our efforts are appreciated and we are doing it correctly. We spent a lot of time researching how we can still dive safely in addition to training all of our staff on the new anti COVID procedures that are now so important.
We agree that one of the good things to come out of this global pandemic is that the reefs had an enforced rest during lockdown and the corals and fish life are truly flourishing.
We cannot wait to welcome you back.

My boyfriend had dived before, albeit not for 4/5 years, and I had never done it before in my life! So we weren’t sure how we could dive on the trip without being completely separate everyday.
We arrived and spoke to Kat who helped us with a plan, giving us all our options and explaining how everything would work - two days later and I was starting my open water course with my partner doing his scuba review and we continued to have 4 absolutely unforgettable days of diving!
I loved the diving, it was so much more calm and peaceful than I’d ever have expected, but Kat made the experience what it was. She made me feel so safe and kept my nerves at bay, she made me feel confident and capable, and I finished the course feeling like a proper diver!
We finished the trip with a night dive, a really beautiful, calm and humbling experience - I feel so lucky to have seen such beautiful things and been with such wonderful company. I cannot thank Kat enough, she absolutely made the whole trip for me and I’m so grateful that she was the one to introduce me to the world of scuba diving!
Also shoutout to Akram - a lovely friendly face who couldn’t do enough for you.

Very professional and exceptionally clean dive centre for divers of all levels and experience. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Beth is amazing, always cheerful, enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and professional. Always keen to help and creates a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for all. Will be using anthias divers a lot and would highly recommend them.

Organization at the top, from booking to diving. Superb dives with Bader, excellent dive master who knows the sites very well, very professional. Diving in small groups and very personalized to make the most of it. Boat crew at the top too.

I had booked a trip to Sharm El Shake. 24. Feb. 2023 to 5. mars 2023 There I saw that there were a few people who taught diving. I'd been adjusting for a long time to learn how to dive. I had started studying diving here in Iceland and had done all my theoretical studies at home. E-learning. I found this great school online and booked myself there. The day after I arrived in Sharm I went to school and there everything was ready and waiting for me and all the equipment was ready and fit all. I was going to qualify as an Open Water Diver. The lessons began in a swimming pool where all the compulsory exercises were reviewed and then they went into the sea and started diving. What a place dived in between coral reefs which are very beautiful and a lot of colored, fish big and small everything is great. For the next three days, I was studying with a private tutor, John Abd Elmeseh. I will remember his great teacher and companion. the last dive was at Fanur Beach and was even more beautiful. After four days of training and teaching, I was completely confident in what needed to be done to be a diver. I highly recommend this company Anthias Divers and especially my teachers. Everything was done with great honor and I am indescribably grateful to have chosen this company.

Just spent a week diving with Anthias Divers. The centre is well set up and organized. They arranged boat diving for our group of 12, taking us to some amazing places. Always safety conscious and planned dives for the range of diver abilities in the group. Customized the daily programmes to our needs including arranging another boat day the day before we flew as our flights were not until the evening. Brilliant crew, will be back!

We visited Sharm in December and did several dives with Anthias... the trip could not have been more fun and relaxing and the dives were spectacular. I hadn't been diving in while when we got there and the instructors/dive masters went out of their way to help me feel comfortable again so I could fully enjoy our time. Thanks so much!

As a regular diver I do a lot of research into the dive centers in the area I'm visiting (not usually the case for Egypt but my regular dive center is closed due to corona), and then once I narrow it down I like to visit the short list to make my final decision. A bit extreme maybe, but it is what it is. This process led me to Anthias and it was the correct decision, needless to say, providing they will have me back, this is now my go to dive center in Sharm.
I did 6 dives with Anthias and they were all great. They (Beth) went out of their way to make sure i got all the diving i wanted to do done, without there being a pushy schedule. All the dives were fun and safe. It really was what you hope your diving experience will be.
The atmosphere at the diver center is friendly and relaxed. The staff and crew are excellent, knowledgeable and always ready to help.
Also a handy airport transfer for their divers, which is always nice.
I will be going back

Returned back to Anthias first time after covid pandemic. It is still a fantastic dive operator.
Staff are great. They are knowledgeable and professional but also very approachable and caring.
Pick up and drop off from the airport, so no crazy taxi issues etc.
Dived 9 days with a mix of Tiran and Ras Mohammed trips. Very enjoyable. Very relaxing.
Will be back to Anthias in 3-4 months. No consideration to go elsewhere.

Really well organised (I travelled during COVID restrictions). Felt safe at all times.
Was interesting to visit dive sites I’ve been too many times and then dive them a totally different way - great guiding.
