Bouma is filled with dense, lush jungle hikes, gorgeous waterfalls (with pools you can swim in) and hikes to stunning vistas overlooking the entire landscape. If you're on Taveuni, it behooves you to make the drive out and tour this park. It was the big highlight of our trip to Fiji for sure!

We were guided by a woman associated with Sau Bay resort. We thoroughly enjoyed the lower falls, and hiked up to the second falls as well. Taveuni's "Garden Island" name is well deserved.

We REALLY enjoyed this hike....There were a lot of 'steps' and definitely got the ol' glutes working hard :-) Crossing the river over the rocks was a challenge but exciting! The views were spectacular!!

There are 2 really good walks you can do in the Bouma Park both of them leading to waterfalls with pools where you can swim. The first is from Bouma information centre and is about 5km there and back, the second is the Lavena coastal trail which goes from Lavena village and is about 10 km there and back. Both... More

Incredible hike and amazing falls! Jump from the cave at the 1st waterfall but make sure to hike to the Second and Third falls as well. A beautiful hike with lots of unique nature to take in. We even saw a purple crab!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the park and the walk to the lower two of the Tavoro Falls. The first falls are easy to reach on a moderate uphill walk. The middle falls are well worth the walk, but you will have to be in reasonably decent shape to manage the climb up and down many stairs, which in... More
