The decorative fish variety impressed the visitors. At the time the aquarium represents up to 100 species of fish from Black Sea, Georgian freshwaters and the decorative ones.

This is the only place, out of many others we visited in Batumi and other cities of Georgia that is a total disappointment. The authorities should either close it down completely or entirely give it a new facelift. The place is shabby and the fish...More

Next door to the Dolph Lungrenarium, the Aquarium in Batumi is well set up, lots of great fish to look at in dozens of tanks. It is awesome to see so many varieties there, the place could use a bit of TLC but not too...More

Black curtains keep this one-room aquarium in an appropriate shadow. Obviously a Soviet relic, this in need of dire upgrading. It smells like brine and it's just some fish, a few turtles, and some skates. English translations are not always accurate for fish names. Not...More

Small entrance fee might be invested just to have a look how things should not be organised. It seems that nothing there has changed in decades, in negative sence. They even have lunch time break. Children are not interested in poor service and leave disappointed.

The aquarium is not well kept-dirty windows on the fish cages. However there are some interesting small fishes I have never seen before-small fishes of orange color or fishes with stripes like zebra.

Its a complete waste of time. the aquarium glass was so dirty that you cant even see properly. Not sure why they have kept it open. They should close it down. Even if they offer you free entry...don't go.
