Unique sculpture. But don't buy a cup of fruits from the guy standing next to the sculpture
Unique sculpture of legendary Ali & Nino who move around and pass through each other every 10 minutes. But I recommend NOT TO BUY a cup of FRUITS FROM THE GUY standing next to the sculpture. He will rip you off saying prices more than 3 times higher than the ladies standing 50 meters further towards the port. Buy a cup of fruits from the ladies.

    Nice experience
The show is 10 minutes but it feels shorter as you get caught up in the smooth movement of the statues in their slow dance coming together, and passing through each other. It's a marvel of a sculpture. It actually looks larger in pictures, but it's just as the given height of 8m. A lovely sight to behold, and looks good in hyperlapse video.

    Simply genius moving artwork
This moving statue of Ali and Nino are the only such display worldwide. It is just simply amazing to see the genius work that went into getting these two statues to pass through each other. Simply genius. The area is beautiful, clesn and picturesque. However, I expected the statues to have been a little bit bigger but I was not disappointed. I am so happy it took 6 hours drive from Tbilisi to Batumi just to see the statue. It was the only reason I drove so far just to see this one of a kind artwork.

The story of Ali and Nino makes this such a beautiful and romantic attraction. The atmosphere around was magical; a band playing live music and people dancing on the street to music from different cultures and countries. Only thing negative is that from videos on Youtube İ had imagined that Ali and Nino would be a lot bigger.

Visited this monument today. Very impressive from various angles. The mechanism that moves both figures wasn’t working but that did not detract from its beauty. Great to admire with nice seating nearby. Great views of the sea and the port from this area.

We arrived to Batumi from Kutaisi as a group of a one day organized tour.
The walking part in the city is nice and to be honest I could imagine to stay there muck longer than the tour allowed us.

The beach part is very nice and the statue to see how they kisses and hugs each other it really touches me.

Also you have a nice view of the city center with all modern buildings.
I think next time I will go directly to Batumi to spend more days there only

Like most people, I was expecting Ali & Nino to be much, no MUCH, bigger. Somehow, this iconic Batumi statue is promoted as an optical illusion - which works well for advertising, but is a massive turn-off when you see the actual thing.
To make matters worse, they weren't even moving when I visited !
Nice idea though . . .

This was a nice and interesting monument dedicated to the love and friendship between Christians and Muslims. This made for a nice backdrop for photo taking which we took full advantage up. I really appreciated this monument and technical design.

Two metallic long statues, made of rings, represent a young Muslim Azerbaijani man his name was Ali and a Georgian Christian woman her name was Nino they loved each other but they didnt married because of their different societies. Both statues move changing their position every 10 minutes, until they combine and become one.(The idea based on a novel by an Azerbaijani author using the pseudonym Kurban.)

The monument represents figures of a man and a woman moving in circles for about 8-10 minutes and eventually passing through each other, forming one whole body for several second. The monument was inspired by a novel called Ali and Nino, written by Azerbaijani author, Kurban Said.

This monument is located in a geat area by the sea in batumi near to the alphabet tower too!!! Great atmosphere and lights around it... You can see the lights' reflection on the statues... The statues moves slowly they first separate from each other and then after a ride they come to each others and merge and become one!!! Very touching story of love of Ali and Nino... It is highly recommended!!!
