We visited the gardens recently as my husband is very interested in trees and shrubs. Having read so much about the gardens in the local tourist brochures I was surprised by how poor the infrastructure was. Even at the entrance to the park where they...More

The garden is a splendid tropical paradise. For bird watchers and botanical lovers it is a must. If none of the above it is a great place to relax and contemplate, nature here is at its best. The park has a great infrastructure and plenty...More

Any bus passing through Tela will inevitably go by Lancetilla's entrance**. Just let the driver know to drop you at the entrance. If you're prepared to walk or hitchhike, the walk from the entrance gate to the botanical... More
