The place is around 40kms from Vizag. The beach is clean an usually there are lot of families here and many groups can be found having a get together. The place has no eateries for lunch. Most people cook and carry food along. You can some snacks like corn, juice or ice cream. The drive toward the beach is god, long the Navy officers quarters which is well maintained.

One of the less crowded and calm beach in Vizag. This is somewhat far away from the city across the Dolphin hill. Beach is not maintained at all but as the crowd is less it is comparatively clean.
There is an APDTC Harita Resort on this beach but it is very bad. Can only be used for washrooms which are also not very clean. Only in case of emergency. You will find corn sellers here.
Beach and the water is clean.

This is a hidden gem. Around 25-30 min driving distance from the heart of the Vizag. The roads are ghat road so the car speed should be in the lower circuit. From RTC Bus Complex buses are also available to Yarada Village. From there one need to travel by foot. Otherwise hire a car and go to the Yarada Beach. This Yarada beach is a private beach with in the agrigold plantation. Entry fee is Rs 10 per person.
This is a wonderful beach where you can see sea and hill together. The sand is also very fine. This is a nice clean beach unlike RK Beach which is in the middle of the town.

"Yarada Beach"... a hidden beach of vizag ...its near to Gangavaram port. From vizag city its nearly 20 K.m far..there is two ways to reach this location..
one is via Gangavaram and second way via malkapuram, dolphin hill road.
second way is too difficult Ghat road. via Gangavaram is the best and safe way.
The beach is clean and pleasant with less people...
Thank you.

You will find many crabs on the shore n swimming or even goin into the water to a little extent can make u repent if not careful...its very slippery n dangerous...only goof thing is the sight you get to see when you are nearing the beach but even that is not a good place for you to stop and take photos cause theres no place to even stand other than the road...better go see the other beaches like R K BEACH its safe there are even life guards

It's a calm and natural beach. Limited options food is available to buy at Agrigold resort with small entry fee. Best thing is to get a packed food/lunch from outside and enjoy the beach and water then stay till evening. Strictly avoid drunk and drive. can be approached by road from Gangavaram side if you are coming from Gajuwaka and from Dolphin nose if you are coming from Vizag city. also plan to visit light house at dolphin nose if you are coming from Vizag. Timings evening 3:00 to 5:00

I'd like to make some points for my review..
1. Absolutely breathing view. Surrounded by hills (Eastern ghats range). You can go up the hill for adventure. May be that's the reason the very adjacent hill is called Yarada Adventure Hill (see Google maps)
2. It's located outskirts the Visakhapatnam city. That's why it's not as populated as famous RK beach.
3. Swimming here is not prohibited, but little risky. Sea is very tranquil. Be careful when swimming.
4. There is direct road connectivity right to the beach. (I) If you have own vehicle, then it would take approx 40 mins from visakhapatnam station. (II) If you want public transport, then board bus no 99 or 400 or 400 series from station, get down at Scindia Junction, wait for bus no 16 (it takes you to Yarada Beach). Remember, the bus (no 16) from Yarada is at 6:00 pm. So plan accordingly, as there is no other way of communication. If you are lucky enough you may get an auto (of course you have to bergain for fare). There are some websites which say bus no 16 is from station. No, it's absolutely not.
5. The view when you cross the hill is absolutely amazing. You can see the whole city and the seashore when taking your journey.
6. Carry water and foods. You will find some shops but there is scarce of availability.
7. You can walk towards Dolphin Hill and summit the hill from beach. There is walkable road. (see Google map in satellite view)

We took an Ola at around 9 am from our hotel near RK beach it took us around 500 Rs, but we reached there in 1 hour. The ride is good, but as you reach close to the place you will feel a little scared since its secluded and goes through a field. We first thought of quitting the journey and head back, but then decided to go ahead.
I am so glad we complete our journey and saw this huge water body completely blue. Windy and gorgeous. The waves were loud and big. It was a beautiful experience.
We decided to come back with the same ola itself ans it was a great decision since there were no vehicles available on the way back.
Its a must visit.
Things to do-
1.Go in group, not very safe for couples even during the day (since we went in the peak season so it was a different situation)
2.Always pre book your journey back from yerada beach. There are no vehicles available on the way back and if are, will charge more.
3Carry your own food and water. We saw a bhutta wala only.
Things NOT to do-
Don't Swim or bath, the waves are huge and dangerous
Don't visit after 4 to 5 pm, since its really secluded and passes through fields and forests.
PS- I have a full video about this trip on my youtube channel. Khushi NotOnlyMakeup

If anyone cannot appreciate the beauty of the beach and the friendship of the villagers then I suggest they stay at home, in a dark room and contemplate what's important in life. This is a place of outstanding natural beauty where you can relax and enjoy what is best in life. Stroll along the beach then take the road back to the village, this walk if very relaxing and enjoyable. When we got to the village everyone was happy to see us and it rounded off a perfect day.

The most important thing for a beach is the cleanliness and Yarada beach is the only beach in vizag which is absolutely neat and clean and you would love to spend the rest of your trip here...I didnt mind the 30 bucks they charged per head for entering the beach...trust me...its worth it...

Yes. Available. From RTC take bus to Scindia Junction. From station bus no 99 or 400 or 400 series are available to Scindia Junction and they are very frequent (say, a bus in every 7-8mins). Get down at Scindia and board bus no 16 (it is less frequent, a bus in every 30 - 40 mins). This bus takes to directly to Yarada Beach. Thank you and cheers. :)

Is there any Resorts or hotels near yarada Beach...?
Written 27 May 2015
No, There are no resorts or hotels or even a shack at Yarada. It's near a sleepy little fishing village called Yarada village. You can stay in the city and make an evening's trip or as I said, go to RK beach instead if you don't mind the crowds.
