Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Patna has not too many shopping complexes and thus Maurya Lok attracts people living here. It is an old complex now.It has all kinds of shops including eateries and lots of vendors selling street food. Vending sites have occupied lots of space and this makes it so crowded in the evenings that it is difficult to park vehicles and enjoy shopping at the same time. The complex has many offices on upper floors of buildings. It is not maintained well as lots of garbage is found around after a busy evening. But still, people enjoy it and its street food.

Its a big government owned shopping complex. Its in centre of the city having 4 blocks. Each blocks have atleast 2 hundred shops in two floors.Rest of the floors are government offices. It got wide variety of shops. There are many small eatries where you can enjoy chinese and south indian at reasonable rate.Despite so important place its very badly managed.Toilets are not dirty. You can see sewage water flowing on the roads. Most of the open space for parking are encroached by vendors selling bhel puri, ice cream, momo or paani puri.Daily thousand of people visit here but government is not so keen to improve its condition.Really very sad.

You can find a shop here for literally anything you need for your house. From a safety pin to cycles, all kinds of sellers are gathered in this old market place of Patna. They have few good restaurants like Basant Vihar but this place is more famous for street food like litti and egg rolls. They don't have big brands like malls but reliable dress shops and accessories shops are here to get a cheaper and trustworthy buy.

There is a restaurant in Maurya lok complex named Basant vihar. If you are a first timer then ask with someone. Most amazing food. Whenever I m there in patna I went there. If you are done then you can enjoy a icecream in its campus. Shopping is also there in Maurya complex

This place is famous for its litti chowka, because Aamir Khan visited this market to litti chowka. As a result, there are lots of litti chowka stall - all with pictures of Aamir Khan. Pick any that look good to you, they are all pretty much the same.
I also liked the other street food that is served here, like bhelpuri, batta chaat and samosa chaat. You can also try the Chinese food stalls if you would like.
