Its a gallery of portraits reminds India’s struggle for independence. The photographs of people who participated in the freedom struggle is displayed here. Various historic events and incidents are also preserved here. Good collection of books and speeches are displayed.

Maybe not the most famous touristic attraction in Chandigarh, but this place worth definitively a visit. There you will be able to see different artefacts related to the fight for freedom.The facede of the building isnot as good as what is inside

If you happnes to be in Sector 17 market of Chandighar, then it is a must visit place. Big facts to Minute details of freedom fight struggle is being kept there in form of portraits, original letters and newspaper cuttings. Strongly recommended for history lovers.

I really liked the collection of paintings here. There were not many portraits here but the landscape and other paintings are worth a visit for the art lovers

Its not too much heard of among local residents as they tend to miss out the history of place they live in. It potray paintings, free visit and guided tour, what more do you want!

We went here to see the portraits, but there weren't any! Instead there was an interesting exhibition of landscapes by a modern Indian Artist.
