Know your farmer, know your food! Ever wonder what a super food is? Do you...

Know your farmer, know your food! Ever wonder what a super food is? Do you know the climate of Alamogordo is identical to Iran? Eagle Ranch is a self contained agribusiness which means that everything that is done to the crop, from start to finish, is done right here on the premises. Our most popular attraction, the FREE farm tour, offers visitors a behind the scenes look at harvesting and processing pistachios while providing unusual and little known facts about one of America's favorite snacks.

The tour takes about forty-five minutes. You will visit the field, the processing plant, the salting and roasting facility, as well as our packaging and shipping departments. It's a walking tour with wheelchair accessibility.

Don't forget to leave plenty of time to visit our gift shop. We offer FREE samples of our pistachio products and candies, as well as our award winning wines. Enjoy a glass of wine or pistachio ice cream on The Grove Patio overlooking the pistachio trees. The Grove Patio is even available for private events.

Heart of the Desert is an upscale stop for both tourists and locals. Not only a pistachio ranch, it is also a nice winery with unique selections that go well with any meal. Their reds are very good and their whites range from very dry to a sweet and tasty moscato. Our favorite is their rose, a pistachio rose that... More

My wife and I were on vacation and we were glad we chose to stop. The service was great. The wine was OK. The ice cream was excellent. The pistachio nuts are great and make great gift ideas for friends and family back home. Yes, we recommend stopping here if you're anywhere in the area.

This is a great place to check out. The shop had lots of wonderful, fun items, free wine tasting, samples of their pistachios. We stepped right outback to see the Pistachio trees. Great fun and we were so glad we shopped!

Eagle Ranch grows and processes the best pistachios that I have ever eaten. They offer them in a variety of seasoned flavors including red and green chili flavored. They also offer guided tours of their processing facility so you can see just how pistachios are grown, harvested, and then processed. You can sample the many items made from their pistachios... We came to the farm on a Saturday in June. Normally, that means no tour. Fortunately for us, there was a troop of Girl Scouts who were touring and they allowed us to tag along. I had never seen pistachios on the tree before, and that alone almost made the visit worthwhile. But we got to see the plant where... More

I loved that you could taste all the different flavored ones, sweet and salty types. My favorite was the green chili ones...just enough heat! There patio is absolutely beautiful!! I tried some of their wines too and ended up buying a bottle. Wish we would of had time to enjoy a glass of it on their patio...just lovely!
