PistachioLand- Pistachio Tree Ranch is owned and operated by the McGinn...

PistachioLand- Pistachio Tree Ranch is owned and operated by the McGinn Family and is home to 12,300 trees and 6,000 wine producing grapevines. The original trees were planted in 1980 and the first nuts were harvested in 1984. Today, Pistachio Tree Ranch is a fully integrated farm where the McGinn Family grows pistachios, makes pistachio candy and packages pistachio products sold on their farm and around the United States. Arena Blanca Winery features the McGinn Family's wines produced on the farm from grapes grown in their vineyard. The World's Largest Pistachio monument was finished in 2008 and was built as a tribute to Tom McGinn, whose vision was to grow pistachios in the New Mexico desert. It stands 30 feet tall and has been featured in New Mexico Magazine, National Geographic Traveler, and Parade Magazine. It was filmed in 2010 in the movie, "This Must Be The Place," and on the History Channel's "Only in America" with Larry the Cable Guy in December 2012. Named a New Mexico Treasure by the NM Cabinet Secretary of Tourism, June 2014, on New Mexico Television episode 3. Visit the farm and winery year around, open daily. Motorized Farm Tours Daily. Call ahead for groups larger than 6 people. Weather permitting.

Cute little place to visit and buy different things. They also have a winery. The amount of items will boggle your mind. Try the Atomic Hot Pistachio brittle. It's delicious but spicy!

A family owned and operated business. Watched a short video on the history of the operation, participated in wine tasting as well as the various nuts and candies for sale. Friendly staff, clean and inviting facility.

My husband and I were stationed in the local area for several years, and recently had a chance to go back for a visit. McGinns is still the most impressive wine, jelly, candy, and nut store in the area. They offer military discount, and all of my out of state family always requests items from McGinns.

This is a great place for wine or pistachios. They make their own wine and the nuts are sold as is or flavored. My favorite is the brittle. They have tours or the grounds everyday which is a good place to take those out of town visitors.

Thank you for visiting our family farm. The pistachio brittle is made here by hand, nearly every day, and it is simply the very best brittle anywhere. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us and we hope you have the chance to come back soon to try our newest wine! More

My wife and I were on a cross country trip and on a whim decided to stop at the Pistachio Tree Ranch. We were pleasantly surprised. In addition to getting a great picture with the pistachio the gift shop was a great place to get anything "pistachio". We ended up buying a ton of stuff. Who knew that pistachios came... More
