Very informative visit. Learnt a lot about Goan culture and tradition.Gathered knowledge about old tools and implements used in routine life , way back then. Must visit for all.

I went to Ancestral Goa. At Ancestral Goa there are a number of places to visit such as an art gallery where one can see work done by local children and artists of State and National fame. It is great place to go.

This place is also known as big foot and that is because of the imprint of a foot on a rock. People say that if you wish something with pure heart by touching the big foot your wishes will certainly come true. The place is...More

Reached the place with great expectations. The light and sound tour was absolutely poor. The sound was not at all clear and the lights were normal bulbs and we did not understand half of the thing. Second part of the tour was all about Goan...More

If you just wander the streets of Goa for 30min, you would get a better understanding of rural Goan life - than visiting this place. Nothing to see, coupled with rude staff ensure that you can tell everyone to cross this off their lists.

Museum Stuff. Old daily life stuff like bed, typewriter, pots, crockery. Also visited Big Foot. Very well maintained place. Cool and silent place. Statues explain the life of Goa. Varieties of plants also there. Big Foot, Mira bai Statue is very nice.

Good of you want to know a little bit about Goan history with religious mix. Sculpture of St. Mira bai is seriously the best. But I wouldn't go there if it doesn't come in my way to North Goa
