Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the entrance lockers to the checking, the photo kiosk & paid shows, all of it was so systematic. If you plan to visit the temple, indoor museum & photo at the booth, it will take around 1 hour. If you decide to view the paid shows, it requires 2.5 hours more. The water show needs some more time too.
As mobile phones are strictly not allowed, getting the photo clicked at the booth serves as a good memory of the visit. It costs Rs.100 per photo. The guy clicks 3-4 shots & prints the best one. Both inside the temple & outside garden & lawn are so neat, clean & well maintained. It was a great experience.

Awesome temple. The fountains the green manicured lawns the lighting in the gardens very aesthetic. The sanctum
inspires one into a spiritual awakening. The water show was excellent. The setting the story telling the lighting all very beautifully executed. Definitely recommended for all ages inspite it being an hour from Ahmedabad city. A must for all travelers

Hello, there are a few pictures here on Trip Advisor from the beautiful architecture. I understand mobile phones cannot be brought inside the temples, but can they be used outside, on the grounds and in the gardens?
Also, is it safe to leave our phones and personal belongings at the entrance?
I am a solo traveller and probably won’t have access to leave my things in a car.
Thanks!

You are not even allowed to enter the gate unless all electronic devices And footwear are deposited in the depository outside the gate. You have to buy photos from the shops inside the campus.

I am planning to visit Ahmadabad in November.I want to see Akshar dham Mandir and I want to see it at leisure and attend all the shows.I can spare full one day if that is necessary.
So please tell me how I can program the Mandir tour step by step and by time? Is it necessary to spare 1 day or can be seen in the afternoon till last evening show?
Thanks

Well, you do not have to spare the whole day for Akshardham at Ahmedabad. The temples have their own schedules. And many a times the gods needs rest from us!! Especially at Gujarat the afternoons are ‘do not disturb’. The best way is that you show up there earlier in the day and spend some time. Check for any shows etc, Aarti timings and anything else you are interested in. The best part is that the temple complex is in close vicinity of many-many attractions (you can check on the internet) and you can hop across to come back for the next attraction at Akshardham. Hope that will help!!

There are many places , First is Ratanpor for shopping in cheaper rate (If you have good bargaining skills than you will get it), , 2nd Manekchowk for night food street, 3rd CG Road for fancy shopping, 4th SG road for chilling place with kith and kins , 4th 20 kms away from Ahmedabad that Green city Gandhinagar, you'll find akshardham temple (must visit musical fountain at evening time -world famous), Mahatma Mandir( Super Infrastructure built by Government of Gujarat), Central vista garden about 2.5 km long
